Short and sweet

Who hasn't realized by now that "Political Parties" are a clear.. divide and conquer technique?..

The last 3 years have worked to a T

We're all pissed and fighting each other over mute point's.

Lets go crazy over Stormy Daniels!!

They're playing us America.

What ever "side" your on is fine with me...

Can't we as a nation, just once and for all admit that..the GOV And MSM is praying/hoping that we eat ourselves alive.

We have always, and will continue to disagree about moral belief's, That's Ok and healthy.

Abortion being the front runner IMO. As I understand a woman in distress..who believes that is her best option. I do somewhat sympathize, Although being ant-Abortion..their must be a more humane and effective alternative.

I ask myself how many members of the LGBT community are looking to start a family of their own.. and.adopt.

Why kill these kids if their are so many LGBT couples looking into adoption?

The founders did not want parties. The populous is not informed in today's day and age.
I agree with you, once the population actually can speak with informed opinions.

How do we make this happen?

Oh it's moot- mute is a non PC term for someone who cannot speak.

The parties aren't the problem. Career politicians, and lawyers are the problem.

Politicians don't obey insider trading laws. Why? The politicians and lawyers made it so.

They have made themselves above the law. Politicians and lawyers...

Hillary Clinton is a PERFECT example... any other government employee would be in jail, forever, for doing the things she has done. PERIOD. If I did the things that she has done, I would be pounding big rocks, into little rocks... in a Federal prison. Obama's DOJ gave her a pass, assuming she would be elected. Too bad that part didn't work out...

Totally agree but, how do we ensure this doesn't happen again? (at this level) corruption will always exist but..what they did is beyond criminal. They tried to take our country out...

They still fear an armed American public. Let's keep it that way.

It does always lead back to that motive doesn't it?

They can have my guns..just gotta get it out of my hands first.

This Country needs to wake up Now.. They're after our complete existence.

Why is it that the people who support abortion..are the same people that can't have their own children, because they are slamming the wrong tools together?

As far as I can see the political system as it is will always be vulnerable to corruption, which is why I favour an alternative known as a Demarchy.

Demarchy is an alternative to elections and to government bureaucracies. The numerous demarchic bodies each make decisions on specific areas and directly implement the decisions. The advantages of demarchy. Demarchy involves a much larger fraction of the population in making policy-type decisions.

In governance, sortition (also known as selection by lot, allotment, or demarchy) is the selection of political officials as a random sample from a larger pool of candidates, a system intended to ensure that all competent and interested parties have an equal chance of holding public office

Oh no... I thought "mute" was the PC term, as opposed to "dumb" as the non-PC term.

So what is the PC term these days?

I don't disagree, but as Madmac says, we also have to get rid of the career politicians and enact term limits (of some kind).

The other thing is, we have to ask how something as you propose would come into being. Would there be a law passed which prohibited the two party system, or would it just be a gentleman's agreement? And, what would stop a two party system from forming again immediately after this law? What would be the penalty for its membership? What a draconian thought that is, right?

This is the great evil of the current two party system; it is nearly impossible to undo. But there is one way, and Donald Trump showed us what that way is...IF people would just drop their axes long enough to step back for a second and look at it.

The way you get rid of a two party system is to dilute it into irrelevance. Trump was an outsider, neither democrat nor republican...or both. He pinned the republican moniker on to get elected president because he knew (wisely) that he HAD to pick either red or blue. He realized blue was corrupt and, well, Hillary. So, red it was. Trump, like Perrot, would never win as an independent 3rd party candidate, and he knew this. And, it's true; it is mathematically impossible for a 3rd party candidate to win. And we all saw what happened. And, even more importantly, we saw proof in what happened as we watched both democrats AND republicans attack him. He was an outsider, a Charlton, and he must GO!

It doesn't take a rocket surgeon to figure out the two party system is hopelessly broken. Just look at the current democratic field of candidates for 2020 to see why. Every single one of them is so wildly different than the next that they don't represent any notion of unity as a "party". Their ideas are too radically different from one another. How can you pick one of them and say the "democrats" won??? You can't.

The truth is, with the democrats right now, you've got about four different political parties running on the blue ticket, and not one of them is truly a democrat (if one could even be defined anymore). You've got communists, socialists, independents and environmentalists (among others). Only the environmentalists and/or possibly Biden align somewhat with democratic ideology. These are all 3rd parties who have branded themselves "democrat". Why? Because they too realize you have to pick either red or blue to win.

So back to the question; how do you get rid of the two party system? Well, it seems to me you have to start a grass-roots upswelling of people who openly cast aside the two party mantra as having been diluted into irrelevance. And to do this, you must force both parties to define exactly what being in their party means. Then you have to kick out anyone who doesn't align with that ideology which will cause all hell to break loose UNTIL...the low information folks finally understand what's going on. This will begin to fracture the two party system. And, the more fractured it becomes the less relevant it becomes.

My .03

Okay. Interesting. Seems rather vague to me, since "non-verbal" could refer to any situation in which words are not used.

But still good to know -- thank you!

In principle, I agree. However nice it would be for every candidate to run on their own merit/platform as an independent when it comes to governing we have to build coalitions. And from coalitions, political parties naturally form and ossify.

We do come from a tribal state....

We should just abide by the Constitution.

That's it.

Simple.

But... that would make us a Country!,with set in stone laws designed by our Founding Fathers. we can't allow that, we must be on board with the dissection of these laws and beliefs or, you know..Racist..

Aint that the thing!

We already have a rule of law, a well written Constitution.

And people ignore it and the disregard is supported.
