did i see a ufo crash?

in may 2004 when i went with my friend's family to las vegas and when we were coming back it was midnight 8 hours before school starts i couldnt sleep as i look outside since i was so good at geography and won the national geography award at my last year i think we were near victorville i saw a bright object in the night sky i thought it was venus then it was moving down to the ground and before it hit the light disappeared my freind's mom also saw it i was scared.many months later im still trying to decide ufo or something else?

It is a UFO until you have identified it.
I am a bit confused. What does your geography knowledge have to do with this?
Seeing a light as bright as Venus falling to the ground or moving towards the horizon can be anything. It is a UFO because you don't know what it is.
Believe what you want to believe it is.
