The whole Democrat.MSM debacle was triggered by primeval jealousies because boneheads at CNN did something 💥😆

Trump ended up knocking people further off course than the Hurricane itself 🤣

That's genuis! That's where sookie gets all its news from and nowhere elze.

So your argument, and that of other lefties, was that POTUS Trump made up false information and now you are changing your argument that he used old information and somehow in your mind that's a disaster?...

Sigh. POTUS tweeted out inaccurate information. He was mistaken. THEN, he marked up a map with a sharpie, to try and fake official information, to cover up for his mistake.

ssued a statement from an unidentified spokesman

You have to wonder, why this person refused to be named?

You might have to wonder - in order to avoid admitting you were wrong and having to backtrack.
The rest of us have already read the initial statement from a named source at the NOAA along with links to the actual reports from August 28th to Sep 2nd.
Sorry, fella, but CNN dropped you in it again.
#sharpie

The problem never should have been that he said the storm was going towards Alabama. It was plausible to say at one point. However he said it several days after it had obviously changed course. A decent leader would have been keeping relatively close tabs on a storm like Dorian. Trump obviously didn't and instead spent his time on the golf course with the US govt paying his company for the privilege. That is how much he really cares about any of you.
The ignorancey is appalling here, however we should be use to the cliche Golf Course line as it'll always be used for an attack.

Like, who is this nobody? What credentials do they have to determine "a decent leader?" and by what metric?

None.

A decent leader would inform the public of all dangers ,regardless and that things change from time to time because the WEATHER IS NOT PREDICTABLE, like Climate Change, NOBODY REALLY KNOWS.

He did damn good, but according to your OPINION, he didn't, but we're not surprised at that.

LOL...What? LOL

What did he do, other than play golf, get the weather forecast wrong, faking a map with a sharpie, and then look for toadies to do his bidding to change history, by throwing weather scientists under the bus?

This is the most simple issue that should never have gone to anywhere this level, and would have never if Trump didnt keep harping on it and bringing up because he can't stand being wrong on anything on any level. I followed that hurricane closely as I enjoy meteorology and had friends in the path of the storm, I also have friends that are in the meteorology and "amateur" meteorology fields.

All he had to do was say he was given "outdated" information and you know what, it probably would have been a passable excuse. To me it wouldnt be, because the President has access to a phone in approximately 45 seconds can have TropicalTidbits pulled up and have access to the very latest storm tracks and data. Since he skipped a trip to Poland to focus on this hurricane I'd hope he had those extra 60 seconds free. Instead we're clinging onto old models and stupid sharpie drawings that were well out of date by the time he tweeted about Alabama when there was pretty much 100% consensus between all models and meteorologists that Alabama was going to be in the clear.

I have a friend was/is a Trump supporter that is also big into meteorology (to the point he was creating his own weather models to test on predicting where this hurricane was going) that keeps asking me why Trump keeps harping on this when he was wrong.

And even then..this story would have probably been old news 4 to 5 days ago if he didnt keep bringing it up in new tweets.

Yessir, he sure did.

A good metric is when Leftist Reeee, we usually go the opposite way, lo and behold! We're right and WINNING.

Lol, come on now, keep up 😉

My Favorite Analogy was from the Sean Spicer era, whereby Trump tweets that "It's going to be dark tonight after sunset, which occurs at 8:00 PM tonight. Unbelievably beautiful!"

Spicer then reports to the news media "The President has made his thoughts on tonight's sunset clearly known."

Media asks "Why is he lying about the sunset?"

Spicer says "We've covered that."

Media asks "Is the President walking back his comments about dark times? Dark People?!"

Spicer says "I think we should move on. Next Topic..."

Media headlines get reported:

PRESIDENT LIES ABOUT SUNSET (Fact Check Organization reports that sunset was 8:01 PM EST)

PRESIDENT CONTINUES TO LIE ABOUT SUNSET (Eastern Time sunset is three hours ahead of Pacific Time)

TRUMP HATES DARK PEOPLE (Turns sunsets into racist diatribe with his racist tweets)

SPICER LIES ABOUT POTUS LIES ABOUT TWEETS (Calls for boycotts of businesses who have lit parking lots at night!)

WHEN WILL THE GENOCIDE STOP? WE MUST IMPEACH! (What genocide? How do we get from sunsets to genocide?)

TRUMP SUNSET CODE IS DOG CALL FOR RACE WAR!!! (Oh, geez, there's no winning with these people...)

Trump Supporter posts the phrase "these people" on their Facebook Page! (Ban FB user. No warning.)

Trump "Supporter" complains about being Banned from FB!! HERE WE DOX THEM ALL!!!!

...

All in all, it was just a nice midsummer sunset at Mar-A-Lago... nothing more.

Trump tweeted out 4 day old information, when there was current information available that contradicted his tweet.

He cancelled his Poland trip, specifically citing his concern for the hurricane, and assured us that he would be getting hourly updates from Camp David.

If he was getting hourly updates, he would have known that Alabama was "out of the woods". But, he probably played too much golf, and was suffering from exhaustion and information overload. That's probably why he tweeted erroneous information, and now, because The Chosen One can't ever be mistaken, has to get his toadies to try and change history.

Nope. NOAA reported all the way up to September 2nd that Alabama could be affected. Trump first mentioned Alabama on September 1st (during the 4 days of the NOAA telling him it might be).

So, you're wrong again.

I know it's hard for you, but you got duped again by the fake news.
I would have thought you'd be a little more careful after getting misled so often... Russia collusion anyone?

He's basically gotten the nations weather agency to play along with his lie and, his fanboys celebrate. What happened to drain the swamp?
This was once upon a time a conspiracy website, government secrets being exposed being the raison d'etre, what's it been reduced too?
A president making no attempt to even cover up his own corruption being cheered to the rafters and some self diagnosed idiot savants who thinks qanon uncovered a sex dungeon on mars.

It apparently still is a conspiracy website, just with conspiracies that you can't support with wishful thinking and hatred for our president.

The Left is unhinged, if that describes you, you get to keep it.

If not, be happy and get a job.

No it didn't.

The National Weather Service in Birmingham, Alabama, tweeted in response: "Alabama will NOT see any impacts from #Dorian. We repeat, no impacts from Hurricane #Dorian will be felt across Alabama. The system will remain too far east."
Few, if any, meteorologists put Alabama in the hurricane's path.

Asked Sunday if Trump had been briefed about potential impact to Alabama, Christopher Vaccaro, a spokesman for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, wrote in an email, "The current forecast path of Dorian does not include Alabama."

Come on, you don't care about FACTS because if you did, you wouldn't be dead wrong every single time. The TDS is strong with you and its glorious seeing you squirm.

You realize that Trump will win 2020, what will you do? Clearly, this method you have going isn't working.

Except the NOAA actually did report that the effects of Dorian could be seen in Alabama...
So the only problem with your conspiracy theory is that we'd have to ignore reality and pretend that an actual report that we can and could all see was not real.
Bit of a stretch.
It's far more likely you've been had by CNN and didn't have the good sense to check your facts before clinging onto what a known fake news network were saying.

Bad luck fella:

NOAA statement:

From Wednesday, August 28, through Monday, September 2, the information provided by NOAA and the National Hurricane Center to President Trump and the wider public demonstrated that tropical-storm-force winds from Hurricane Dorian could impact Alabama. This is clearly demonstrated in Hurricane Advisories #15 through #41, which can be viewed at the following link.
The Birmingham National Weather Service’s Sunday morning tweet spoke in absolute terms that were inconsistent with probabilities from the best forecast products available at the time.

You're just embarrassing yourself now.
