And how fast can both shoot off those 30 rounds?

At the same rate as this one:

A little faster than this one:

How many rounds do they hold, though?

An individual with proper training and knows how to execute their plans well can do just as much damage with 30 5round mags compared to someone with 5 30round mags. One is just more convenient than the other.

High capacity mags don't kill people. People-Kill-People.

Remove high cap mags? Guess i'll just modify them to hold more - No one can stop me

Make "assault" type guns illegal? I'm sure I can go talk to some "good buddies" down the road who may or may not carry anything from a pistol to an RPG regardless of law - Because money talks. The law does not.

Any tool that propels an object through a barrel could and probably will be classified as an assault weapon because ANY weapon (by it's very nature) is designed to assault.

So when the left says they want to ban only assault weapons, what they mean is you'll be left with a pointy stick until they take that away also.

Wrong, they will be left with a magazine that holds only 10 rounds.

So you are actually okay with assault weapons.

I am okay with a compromise and 10 rounds seems adequate for any hunter's needs.

There's that word.

Compromise.

No. No more.

man they should see my .308 mahogany stock and my vortex scope!

Totally a hunting rifle

but also can take out targets at distances that their friends would be startled a good second and a half after they dropped.....

You might want to rework that definition. You left out assault fingers.

What if the shoe was on the other foot and instead of banning guns the impetus was towards requiring you to own, carry and be safe and proficient with them?

Does that not sound like a lack of freedom? Isn’t personal choice a cornerstone of freedom? The latest push on open carry is an organized attempt to alienate the gun owner. Make them the subject of prejudice for being uncommon and out of place. As much I hate the Klan, at least they wear hoods during their hate mongering for easy identification.

Instead of looking for cartoons, read how Australia handled their gun violence problems and it worked.

fortune.com...

No more mass killings in Australia in the past 22 years. Yeah, no more.

The revolver holds six. The purty pink one probably the same as the guns in the OP.

Both can be reloaded in a matter of a second or two. How does that help you?

Shouldn't the impetus be on determining what do you need a high capacity magazine weapon for?

Depends on how you train as to how fast you can reload a revolver.

No, target shooting. But if I were to hunt an animal I would be sure to make it a kill shot within a few rounds. Why do hunters need over 10 rounds to make a kill?
