Well well well.

Quoted from The BBC " The European Commission is considering allowing EU countries to apply for cash to cope with a no-deal Brexit using a special emergency fund"

Interesting indeed. As been previously stated many times, a no deal Brexit is as bad for The EU as some people are saying it would be for The UK.

BBC report here.

Officials are working on a plan to classify no deal as a "major disaster", a category normally used to describe destructive natural events such as earthquakes or major floods

Doesn't surprise me to be honest. Don't get me wrong the handling of Brexit, I voted Leave and would do so again, has been one giant poop Parliament has no clue what they're doing, they are majority remain and are now claiming that they're defending democracy as a reaction to Boris shutting down parliament. Saying that though, surely as we're currently part of the EU we should be able to do the same, we should be able to have access and use some of the disaster fund, heck we probably put the majority of funds into it.

We buy more from the EU than they buy from us , they're right to be worried and perhaps that fear will convince them to let us go with an amicable deal , stop being butt hurt because we're leaving their club and look to the future.

Blighty escapes again ... Huzzah !

They will make a deal but it will go to the wire , that's why the idiots in Parliament who are sticking their noses in to block what Johnson is doing are at risk of scuppering the whole thing.

Oh the EU absolutely does not want a no deal Brexit or any Brexit.

I also think they feed off the UK bickering and use it to scare other nations against even considering it.

The UK should tell the EU to use their portion of the funds for Exit debt. Lol

Like a big insurance scam!
they will give them a little money back,
then increase what they Must pay.

If they fear it that much then give UK what they ask for?
but I say UK will be a LOT better with out EU.
We have ALL the Sea. Oil, gas, Fish +
That is why they seek to control UK.

I am not from Europe so do not have a dog in this fight but have been to the UK recently...

Personally I think the UK long term will be absolutely fine, Europe has far more to lose than gain by the UK stepping away, a good amount of EU countries have their own financial issues and if the UK decides to shut up shop and stop imports of certain brands I can see panic buttons being pressed, Germany not having BMWs imported or with massive tariffs etc.

I am just about old enough to remember the doom porn that was pushed when the EU wanted the UK to take the Euro currency, if you believed the reports at the time the UK would be like Haiti today and guess what it did not happen.

I also have to ask what happens regarding all the retirees that moved all their cash and estates to places like Spain to retire?, if the EU plays hard ball I can see whole regions being totally desolate within a generation, my understanding is that areas of southern Spain are filled with older people from the UK proping up entire local economies? in a country where a steady job seems to be very hard to come by.

From the offset Brexit has been a absolute cluster blunder and I said to my friends I would be very surprised if it was allowed to happened, PM May I believe did everything she could to derail the decision in the hopes that it would really sway public opinion, what I witnessed was that if anything folks in the UK have seen what the EU is about now and will stick to their guns. A few people I hung out with voted to stay but have now firmly changed their minds...

plain and simple.
the inter--national families have long protocoled for these 'unions' for decades, since last century.

any any time an inter--nationalist creates something, its not for good, its for their own profit and power.

so if you support unions, well then the inter--nationalists got what they wanted.

if you are intelligent, and hate big war, big taxxes, outsourcing, insourcing, etc, then you want beautiful sovereignty for everyone.

I wonder if the economic upheaval following a Brexit from the EU will be the first domino to fall leading to a collapse of the world economy and a depression? All the players in it are present and just need a major push. My best,

Greece, Poland and Sweden are being watched very closely by the EU. Greece has elections in October which could lead to Grexit down the road depending on how that goes.

None of the countries you noted have any interest in leaving the EU.

Well if you say so then it must be so that 60 million people have no interest in leaving the EU and recent anti-EU elections in those countries were a clerical error.

I thought Greece was a financial basket case and the EU would be better without it
Greece financially look like they could undermine the whole EU

REVEALED: The next TWO countries who will quit 'EU cult' as Brussels fears UK success
AT least two European Union member countries are feared to be considering quitting the bloc to follow in the footsteps of Brexit Britain, global business developer Hilary Fordwich warned.

The European Union has been facing threats of further withdrawal from the bloc as several member countries swung towards the eurosceptic right in the past couple of years. Ms Fordwich suggested the Netherlands and Sweden could soon follow Brexit

Swedish eurosceptic party Sweden Democrats (SW) has issued a dire warning to Brussels, suggesting the Scandinavian country could very well leave the bloc unless eurocrats accept to make substantial changes to its core institutions. A shocking poll in 2017 suggested more than half of The Netherlands would prefer to quit the EU.

Ms Fordwich continued: "There were rumours of Nexit, the Dutch leaving and The Netherlands, and Swexit after the right swing in Sweden.
