Freedom is subjective.

Can I choose to move somewhere within my country to find the freedoms I find more important, absolutely.

Are some areas of this country oppressive to me? Yup. State and localities can be stricter or inversely more lenient.

It's hard to say America as a whole. The older I get, the more I realize there are many cultural nuances.

Which country in the world has the highest incarceration rate?

You cannot get any more absolute than that.

I'm really not fond of that....and I think it would relate to my first response in this thread.

That said, I still stand by some states and localities are worse than others.

I know the reputation we have by many, but there are places you can do whatever you want I a respectful manner and not get locked up. I get it's not perfect. But there's a way to navigate it here.

Not surprising that the FREEST country in the world would have the LARGEST target on it's back from the "World communist system".

Obviously outright war won't do, you need to subvert from within.

I just hope there are still enough people around that are both strong enough and have the conviction to ride us over this next "hump" and right the ship for another few hundred years.

You aren't suggesting that the US is the freest country on in the world, are you?

According to this Wikipedia page, the US is 85% free in 2019, in a world where there are three countries (Finland, Norway & Sweden) ranked as 100% free.

Depends on who is doing the figuring...
You knew that.

Freedom does not mean how many is in prison.
Or , are you taking up the effort of a complete lawless society ?
Sure sounds like it

There is merit in his claim.

Is a free society one in which people who partake Ina plant land up institutionalized? Or one where a father who doesn't make payments to the offspring he left?

While the former is simple, don't get caught or live somewhere its legal.... The former takes someone away from their income, strips their ability to drive (state by state basis), and what good does that do anyone.

We can do better. I think it's important to realize that. But so can everyone, and America doesn't have to represent all the world's sin. We're no the worst, not by a long shot.

But got damnit do we have some work to do.

Best spent time watching videos.
The precision is frightening.
People need to understand that debt is enslavement.
This is the only thing these politicians actually promise.
Chains.
Free-this, free-that - rhetoric is free, that's about it.

Incoming mason telling you to just get a job, and you're debt free or else.

I love this place.. lol

Cool! So you dont pay taxes over there? Else, i got some bad news for you....

Socialism is when industry is community "owned".

Taxes suck, but they don't necessarily equal socialism.

But EVERYTHING is an industry these days, does the taxes help pay anybodys salary?? If they do, its an industry and you are socialist, or atleast getting there...

Taxes suck

When it comes to the FREEST country, The U.S. doesn't even make the top 10.

Search for yourself.

Free except peoples wages suck, everyone is debt, and there's really no chance anyway can ever save enough to retire comfortable. Healthcare costs are skyrocketing and gasoline is probably twice as much as it should.

Oh wait, you mean "free" in the sense the CEOs and billionaires can gouge the American people without any consequence. Got it.

Speak for yourself... my wages are quite fine and I can retire comfortably right now at 54.

For the rest, health care is cheaper now then it was under Obama and gas prices are low.

As for your obvious envy at someone who makes more than you do, there is a way to fix that...

Did you watch the video? Your retirement wont be anything if this country falls. You seem to have the attitude of, "They came for this, but I was not that". Your not safe either.

AMERICA WILL NEVER BE A SOCIALIST COUNTRY!

Don't worry, wealth inequality is so extreme the dollar will have to collapse to nothing in value first.

When you spend more time worrying about what someone else makes, that's less time spent doing the things to make more for yourself.

The last three minutes are interesting. And basically explains what he was talking about. Subtly quoting Lenin and basically blaming exactly what one of Bernies platforms runs on. Capitalist greed will inevitably undermine American liberty.
This guy was basically just explaining how Lenin wanted to spread communism, and failed. It has very little relevance to today's world.

Exactly.

There’s always someone wealthier, smarter, fitter, more successful, etc.

The inverse is also true.

Get over the worry/thought/anger/focus/curiosity about what others are doing/have/etc. and worry about yourself and being the best version of you that you can be.

You’ll probably be happier and become more of whatever you’re trying to be.

Psst, he is one of the brainwashed.
My husband makes really good money, he actually worked for it, when we retire we will be living the sweet life. We are debt free. We don't spend much right now, my husband has investments in both our names, we are not relying on social security. People who state they are not making enough, well get more education. Quite blaming other people for your problems.

If my memory serves me right even innocent people have died under the death penalty no?
