Socialism is good when it builds a commonwealth. Not so much when it goes to bailout banks and trillion per year on the military.

Free except peoples wages suck, everyone is debt, and there's really no chance anyway can ever save enough to retire comfortable. Healthcare costs are skyrocketing and gasoline is probably twice as much as it should.

Speak for yourself... my wages are quite fine and I can retire comfortably right now at 54.

For the rest, health care is cheaper now then it was under Obama and gas prices are low.

As for your obvious envy at someone who makes more than you do, there is a way to fix that...

I think the USSR and Russia provide two very important examples.

Socialism can't work, because government is inherently flawed... But also, oligarchy on the inverse doesn't work as well... Because favoritism is the antithesis to free market.

They pulled a full 180.

I hope we go back to a more self reliant posture without providing favoritism to multinational corps who don't care about the country they originate, or the customers they service, or monopolitized into being the only "option".

According to this Wikipedia page, the US is 85% free in 2019, in a world where there are three countries (Finland, Norway & Sweden) ranked as 100% free.
