Now that’s where I see a problem as some of these companies are based in offshore jurisdictions for which paying any form of tax becomes a loophole . Can you charge a tax on an exported commodity purely in it passing through your country ? One field mentioned tonight is worth 6 billion. The company that now owns it resides in an offshore jurisdiction ( which won’t get a penny of the revenue )

Offshore corporation tax is ring fenced and not subject to the same types of tax avoidance as normal corporation tax. Basically taxes on profits from the north sea not the profits (or otherwise) of the company.

Thanks for clarifying . We have a system called zero ten . Basically means that companies registered in the island pay zilch to the island . Its mental when you think how much money resides here and yet we still have food banks and people living in poverty

I won't be living in this country for much longer!
As soon as I have enough money saved up from driving HGV's I am relocating to another country who's government aren't walking around having their entire hand up each others ass.
Leave means leave.

My tax money is nothing but free hand-outs to chavs, immigrant mothers and half-assed people in this country who refuse to work! I hope a civil war changes this country for the better however I won't be here to care about it.

Oh look Gary made an appearance.

Good luck with that license Gary, so long, you or any of the other rightwing halfwits won't be missed.

Wee hint its the rich twats that are taxing your tax, or dogging paying there own or any, not chavs nor immigrant mothers.

The only reason for Brexit is so the Tories can avoid the new EU Tax Laws next year but somehow so many middle, lower and working class and even benefits class seem to think this will effect them positively when they will end up paying both literally and figuratively for years to come...

The only hope for the working-class people and those people in the benefits system, never mind the NHS, is the removal of the Tory government and an end to austerity.

Anything else simply facilitates the rich.

It's quite simple really.

Plain as the nose on Bo'Jos puss.

Well, the Tories have cut life expectancy over the past 10 years.

With all there austerity.

That's well known.

That is to anyone with half a brain that does not wear a brown shirt for kicks.

Austerity brought to you by a europhile UK government, with the EU being the global posterboy for austerity... can't you see that? Ask Greece about the EU's stance on austerity.

So short sighted and narrow minded.

And what's the life expectancy in areas with low incomes, high unemployment?

80 years my arse, at least for some.

Go and stand in any Doctors surgery or attend old folks home and then tell me all about facts.

Lol!!! Just had to get back to you on this one...... Been watching the political

debacle on TV ........

^^^never mind standing in Doctors surgery's or old folks homes^^^

THE OLDIES ARE ALL IN THE HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT AND LORDS

Your political comment makes no sense. A neurosurgeon would not rob an uneducated British citizen of a job because a local health authority would immediately employ him because of the general shortage of highly skilled medical specialists. Therefore, the uneducated lout would not complain about it. No. What the lout is complaining about is the free flow of Europeans able to take the low-paid British jobs that might be appropriate for the uneducated man. What he is complaining about is how this uncontrolled free flow enables spiv employers to keep the wages low, keeping him poor. What he is complaining about is all these "foreigners" snapping up all the cheap houses and flats in the area, forcing him to stay with his aging mum and dad. What he is complaining about is his inability to change this unfair EU policy in a democratic way because the EU commision officials are not subject to direct election by EU citizens.

That's why your demonstrator with poor education and only three teeth voted Brexit. And that's why your sarcasm towards working class people who voted Brexit is a travesty of the truth based upon out-of-date class snobbery.

Do you really think that if Corbyn was in charge the economy would be booming with jobs for all and a land of milk and honey?

Bankrupt and the press shackled more like.
