Iranian President Hassan Rouhani: America Must β€˜Bow Down Before’ Iran
🀣🀣🀣

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani suggested that if a meeting with President Donald Trump were to take place that the United States would have to bow down to Iran and repent from "economic terrorism" against Iran.

Looking at other images posted and they seem similar . Don't know if the pic he tweeted was classified or not . If the Democrats would just impeach him then you wouldn't have to worry anymore .

The US as a matter of policy does not release satellite imagery, for the most part we don't even show it to our closest allies. There is all sorts of information in those photos that reveals the extent of our capabilities, capabilities that are better off left secret. Satellite intelligence is some of the most highly guarded information we have, it's damn near on par with nuclear codes as to how secret it's supposed to be. Releasing such a photo is gross negligence.

The resolution on this photo is high enough that it gives away substantial information about our surveillance capabilities. Most nations are thought to be around a resolution of 30cm. This photo is around 10cm, which would either mean we took this from below the atmosphere (there's a limit due to atmosphere, as to how high resolution can get), which would mean we invaded their air space with some sort of stealth aircraft to get it, or it means we hit/passed that satellite limit.

The civilian sector at this point has the technology.

This photo is somewhere between 2 and 4 times the resolution of the best civilian sector equipment out there.

Good point! Could have been a calculated release to let them and other nations know we can see everything you are doing at all times.

Very, very unlikely. If that were going to be done, the photos resolution would be reduced to something that's revealing quite so much in the way of capabilities. Furthermore, it would be an actual photo. This one appears to have been taken from a picture of a projection on a wall due to the glare on it.

I'm not sure it was the US. I thought maybe it was Israel with the US watching. That gives Trump deniability.

OK. Whatever works.

Trump will not bow, like his predecessor did. But we will bring Iran to its knees.

Assuming that also wasn't the plan.

There's an official reaction in the upper left corner, which means this image was cleared through Intel and provided for public release...

Seriously, will people tire of gagging on gnats while swallowing camels whole at some point before Armageddon mercifully ends the coexistence of the righteous with the unsufferable here on Earth, or are we doomed to have to deal with this hell daily?

Legally, Trump can do this... but it is an extremely bad idea. Releasing this does more damage to the intelligence community than everything Snowden revealed, to put this into perspective.

If the President says they want it released, no one can oppose that. That doesn't mean releasing it is a good idea.

What are you seeing in that image that I'm missing? Is there something being exposed that noone should see?

It's not about what is shown in the photo, it's in the capabilities it implies in taking the photo in the first place. Most importantly, the resolution of the photo. That is extremely valuable information that is supposed to be kept highly secret.

In this case, due to the resolution it admits that we either have the ability to take photos that bypass what should be an atmospheric limitation of satellite photography or we took this with something other than a satellite which would most likely mean a surveillance drone flying in Iranian airspace that they couldn't detect. The first represents a major technical breakthrough, the second means we committed an act of war and have an advanced surveillance drone. More importantly, in the case of the second, Iran uses Russian military hardware and was not able to detect our drone. This means we've alerted everyone using that equipment that they need to upgrade again, it's on par with cracking an enemies communications and then revealing you've done so over something trivial.

What good comes from revealing to the world that we have this capability? We just pointlessly exposed our surveillance capabilities over something extremely trivial.

Dude, chill out.

We already told you this was green lit, but beyond that, it is no secret that the US contains abilities and technologies that are both radical and awesome.

Nations know this and so do you. Why hide?

HOW the rocket mysteriously malfunctioned is THE SECRET. Not the aftermath photo.

Our Military and Intel Analysts/Scientists must be thrilled, knowing that "it" really works in a real-world scenario.

From Trump's Tweet in the link above....

The United States of America was not involved in the catastrophic accident during final launch preparations for the Safir SLV Launch at Semnan Launch Site One in Iran. I wish Iran best wishes and good luck in determining what happened at Site One.
