As of 3 p.m. Monday, Dorian had weakened to a Category 4 storm with maximum sustained winds of 150 mph. The storm is centered about 25 miles northeast of Freeport, Grand Bahama Island and about 105 miles east of West Palm Beach. It is moving at west-northwest 1 mph.
Dorian’s slower westward path is forecast to continue for the next day or two before making a gradual turn to the northwest.
The storm's forecast path has shifted slightly to the west for South Florida areas but remains unchanged for Central Florida.
