Anger can be helpful and healthy.
It is instinctual to protect oneself and others.

Anger warns others not to take advantage of us.
And it stops injustice......

Was Jesus never angry?

Nah, he was too baked for that and too passionate about his other stuff. Oils, anyone?

Well we must analyze the thoughts that bring despair instead of peace...and the world views that those systems suppose/propose..

Because we can find atonement...we need to have our perceptions of things corrected...or otherwise...we need not do what brings despair specifically..and only do the things that bring peace of mind to the state in where the body is calm..along with the mind..

The thoughts that bring despair are stories about you in time.

At-one-ment (atonement) comes from the realization that there is only ever what is happening - so no time.

What's wrong with right now? (prior to thought telling stories about things in time).

The mind cannot be at one or peace because it divides the one into before and after.
The mind makes stories in that space time..... in fact the mind simply invents an outside space in which it can believe it has power.

But the ultimate power is right here... this is what there really is.... just what IS happening.

There is no outside to what is happening..... only thoughts say there is other but they too are just happening.
