"Smart Bombs"

There are rumors that there are reports that in the recent Iraq War, The US used "Smart Bombs" which left the enemy soldiers mentally unstable for a period of time but didnt cause any damage to infrastructure or any permanent brain damage to human life.

Does anyone know anything else regarding these smart bombs? It sounds very intriguing. Thanks.

sounds like a concussion bomb but im just guessing, i doubt we have anything that is capable of something like that, we may be advance but not dat advanced.

I've never heard about something like that, but just teoretically the sonic(infrasound) weapons could be able to do something like that. But of course noone knows if such weapons even exist.

Thanks for the responses. It most likely is a concussion bomb or some sort of sonic weapon. I have a friend who interviewed some Iraqi soldiers and this is what he told me they said. He was stationed in Fallujah in early 2004.

i never heard of these "smart bombs" either but it sounds to me like they have to do with sound waves or possible invisible gas. maybe its a weird frequency of sound thta disrupts the soldiers. with todays tech anythign is possible

have you guys seen the shock wave coming off some bomb impacts. This alone is enough to leave one incapacitated for quite a while if you are fortunate enough to survive a bomb blast. Incapicated if not mentaly unstable. If you start moving into the thousand pound bomb blasts ...good grief...how about a 2K blast.? Cleaning out ones pants is the least of ones problems.

One of the most remarkable videos ..is of a bomb released from the delivery aircraft and in the mean time ..some people in the town of Fallujah..come rounding a corner in the street and heading for the US Marines ....about 50 of them.
The pilot reports this to the controller and asks if they want him to take them out. The reply is take them out. The pilot then redirects the bomb in flight..to impact the middle of the streed in the center of this group of 50 people just prior to impact. Quite a video.

Smart bomb is the term commonly given to bomb's with some sort of guidance system, usually GPS or laser.
