ITG, there was a link yesterday to a post interviewing Brennan, where he said something like "They still have to use me for administrative access to the board".

This implies that either:
1) Brennan retained ownership of the code for the board - unlikely,
2) Ron/Codemonkey does not yet understand all the code Brennan wrote and depends on him to get new code safely implemented without breaking existing code,
3) Brennan deliberately ensured he could remain the code "gatekeeper" in order to ensure some back doors he wrote remained secret.

It sounds like a dangerous position for 8chan... dependent on someone whose fallen out with you.

Air Force jet accidentally fires rocket into Arizona desert

The Air Force is investigating after a jet accidentally fired a rocket into the desert about halfway between Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona, on Thursday.

The Air Force said the jet, an A-10C Thunderbolt II, popularly known as the Warthog, "unintentionally released a single M-156 rocket" at about 10:40 a.m. while on a training mission.

No injuries or damage were immediately reported

I was on two destroyers, two tours back to back in the Gulf and did 3 WestPac tours.
Both ships about 10 years later were sunk for target practice somewhere near Hawaii.

Classified briefings, documents, conversations with world leaders, Security Details, travel plans, huge security risks!, Cough..attempts on President life..cough, Planned memos and talking points everything they could get. Just recalling some research I did on Catalina Island. As someone suggested that the Conception Boat that caught fire was heading to Catalina Island.

The Hunt for Red October among other interesting title show up as being filmed on or near the island.

Although the film industry’s use of Catalina Island has slowed, it certainly has not stopped. Many memorable productions have been filmed on the Island in the last fifty years, including The Glassbottom Boat (1966), Rosemary’s Baby (1968), Chinatown (1974), Jaws (1974), MacArthur (1977), Waterworld (1995), Multiplicity (1995), Apollo 13 (1995), and Amistad (1997). There are many other movies such as The Hunt for Red October (1990), Suicide Kings (1997) and The Thin Red Line (1998) that were partially filmed off the coast of Catalina Island as well. As a moviegoer, every once in a while you can catch a glimpse of Catalina on the horizon like in Step Brothers (2008) which also used aerial shots of Catalina Island as featured in Disney’s Pearl Harbor (2001).
