Deirdre O’Brien, a senior vice president at Apple, said Wednesday that Steve Salika, who had been with the company for 30 years, was one of the passengers.
Salika was on the diving trip with his wife, Diana Adamic, and their daughter, Tia Salika, who was celebrating her 17th birthday. O’Brien said Salika and Adamic met while working at Apple.
O’Brien identified Dan Garcia as another employee on the boat, saying he was passionate about his job at Apple and loved diving.

‘John Doe’ Wants to Keep Documents Sealed in Epstein Suit
The Jeffrey Epstein saga has a “John Doe” now.
An anonymous man on Tuesday urged a New York judge to permanently keep secret many of the remaining sealed documents in a defamation lawsuit filed by one of Epstein’s alleged victims, Virginia Giuffre .......
The man doesn’t explain why he believes his name may appear in the documents, or in what context, but he fears his reputation may be damaged by “unproven allegations of impropriety.”
Now, two subsets of additional sealed documents are due to be analyzed by a judge who’ll decide if they should also be made public. Doe said he hadn’t been notified that his name appears in the sealed documents. A hearing on the matter is set for Wednesday in federal court in Manhattan.

The map he displayed included what appeared to be a hand-drawn half-circle that extended the cone of uncertainty over a swath of Alabama.
Trump had raised eyebrows and drawn an emphatic fact check from the National Weather Service on Sunday when he tweeted that Alabama, along with the Carolinas and Georgia, "will most likely be hit (much) harder than anticipated."
