Grants are available for U.S. citizens to go abroad and for non-U.S. citizens with no U.S. permanent residence to come to the U.S. To qualify, for the non-US citizen scholarship to study in the U.S., a student applicant must claim and provide proof of foreign citizenship.

It would be great if they had the transcripts from Occidental.

EMN, the fact that DiFi, Pelosi, Schiff and Lieu all tweeted about the boat fire makes me think they lost allies or bosses to the fire.

Yep, the whole event smells spoofy. Maybe tomorrow some names will start leaking out. Exit hatches were locked? Were they all drunk/wasted including the crew? Some bodies were found in the water and the rest presumed still at the bottom after it sank. And also who were the people on the "Grape Escape" boat that rescued the 5 crew??

PSMM, what worries me is that 30 is the optimum size for a school class, plus 3 or 4 teachers to chaperone.

Why else would 30ish people be in one sleeping compartment?

It would also give a (LAME) excuse as to why the hatches were locked... kids to sleep whilst teachers and crew have a drink.

Think about the boat length, only 75 foot... 39 people on board would make that a pretty crowded boat!! You could stand them in a line along the boat and they would be touching! Unless 30 of them weren't adults.

It is kind of crazy all 4 (including Feinstein) used the phrase “Santa Cruz Island”. Everyone knows the general area where the boat fire was, so why the need for such a specific location?
