MT- please don’t ever stop gracing us with your poignantly perfect music choices ....FWIW, i wasn’t as sad as this day often makes me ( bittersweet because my Daughter is of the Post 9-11 Babyboom) and this September 11th, I had hope for the world (including last year) and even refrained from some higher consciousness sins (is that a thing?) in tribute- I thank yQu all for that. Just my 2 cents if it matters

According to Bloomberg, the company which has faced Congressional hearings for virtually every possible and impossible violation of user privacy (and gotten away with it with just a wristslap), Facebook was not only secretly collecting user audio without their knowledge or permission, but was paying "hundreds of outside contractors to transcribe clips of audio from users of its services." Facebook - and Mark Zuckerberg - also appear to have forgotten to mention this minor detail during their countless sworn testimonies in Congress over the past year.

I have a question re: Gen Flynn.

I just read the Flynn motion for documents to reveal here with all 40 requests. A massive amount of info requested there.

So, I am wondering, what if the prosecutor comes back and decides to drop the case?

Seems to me this would leave Flynn in a no win situation. His name has already been dragged through the mud and he would be left with no way to clear himself.

So, can the judge refuse and force the document disclosure? Are their other options?

If you look at the amount of docs requested, even with 40 separate requests there are many names requested within each point and no doubt with good reason.

Anyone able to clarify this?

I respect this man and his legacy should reflect what he has done for our country.

Google collects Android User audio too. Every time I voice-transcribe a text message, or even a post to this forum, a little pop-up says "Google is recording this audio to your account". Maybe its an anti-terrorist measure?
