The following email was sent today to the MIT community by President L. Rafael Reif. To the members of the MIT community, I expect you know that the late Jeffrey Epstein cultivated relationships with and supplied funding to leading researchers at several institutions, including MIT. I write to share some background on the gifts MIT received, to outline our next steps as an institution and to offer an apology. Here are the core facts, as best as we can determine: Over the course of 20 years, MIT received approximately $800,000 via foundations controlled by Jeffrey Epstein. All of those gifts went either to the MIT Media Lab or to Professor Seth Lloyd. Both Seth and Media Lab Director Joi Ito have made public statements apologizing to Jeffrey Epstein's victims and others for judgments made over a series of years.
As I looked through the still shots taken from the video, my blood froze, because I knew what I was seeing. I am seeing a diver do something to Loretta Fuddy, which I assume was murder, and it chills me to the bone.

The MIT Media Lab is an interdisciplinary research laboratory, the Digital Currency Initiative is headed by former Obama White House adviser Brian Forde, who stated, "The Digital Currency Initiative intends to provide a "neutral" academic working environment for developers".
Developers are said to enjoy "almost" complete freedom.
The MIT lab is funded from gifts from industry, composed chiefly of companies or individuals operating in the cryptocurrency space.
It is a fact that the United States Government has and does fund MIT Laboratories, amounting to Billions of Dollars each year.

Voter ID is a no brainer. You object to that and you’re simply ok with illegal voting.
Gun laws; I’m ok with more aggressive background checks. Will that stop mass shootings? No, but some were committed by people known to law enforcement. If you’re “known” to LE, that’s a huge red flag.
