The Epstein-Barr virus... AKA "Mononucleosis" AKA "the kissing disease"

Coincidence? Maybe not.

I'm not entirely closed off to the idea that Epstein really did off himself. That said, if Barr is on the up and up, Epstein's death should not end the investigation into his crimes and his associations. Also, and this will be a huge telling factor here, the prison, the guards on duty at the time, and any decision makers MUST be fully investigated and any dereliction of duty or veering from established policy must result in removal from duty and potentially even legal charges. Let's see some average joe's face the music here and we'll find out real fast if this was an actual suicide or not.

IMO,
If the truth about Epstein (either in life OR death) had come out, more than half of the US government would immediately have been thrown into an unrecoverable tailspin.

A huge portion of the FBI, CIA, NSA, and many hundreds of already past emplyees of all branches would need to be arrested- All at the same time.
The mass chaos would be viewed from the public as some sort of tyranny overthrowing the government- and since the government is absolutely packed to the gills with corruption, that's essentially what it would be.

The only way to save the US government, IMO, is to overthrow what it has become and re-institute it correctly.
Not even POTUS has the power to do that. It's too far gone- subverted and corrupted at every level for over a century.

They have to say he killed himself, because they can't tell the truth. It would expose them for the crooks and tyrants they've become.
And we the people simply wouldn't stand for the government coming right out and saying they were tyrants... we're still too well armed.
For now.

Are we seeing the first signs of the Epstein saga being swept under the rug to protect the powerful elite?

First signs?

This is the final step. The guy is dead, under Barr's watch, under his prosecution, in his care in his bureau of prisons. And now his death has been cleared as nothing unusual.

Pretty convenient how a fixer with deep state connections just showed up out of nowhere, unsolicited, and started being a fixer and blocker for the admin when they were in need, and just in time for the Epstein fallout.

Is it possible they both have the same bosses? Handlers?

I agree. It doesn't matter what side of the aisle you stand. Our government is a cesspool of corruption and back door deals, done to appease the powerful elite and CEOs that run this country. Smoke screens and lies are generated to protect those involved and MSM facilitates these actions, by pointing the finger in the other direction. Hard to say if Trump is involved in any of this, or just a victim being played by a few of his close advisors and staff. Either way, our country is in a sad state of affairs and IMO, it would just get worse if Democratic Socialists take the reins.

We've often disagreed in the past... But that comment was dead on.

Bravo sir.

If there is no justice on this, I believe many Americans will finally give up on the idea that any kind of justice on the elite is impossible.

Right. The sexual abuse of children could be a unifying issue among all Americans, both right and left. Not just could be but should be. Just tossing of this death to the lazy guards or over worked guards or even the warden will not serve to bring the hammer down on those who use their wealth and power to continue this appalling sickness that has now surfaced in the pimple called Epstein.

The high visibility of Eptsein, his connections to elites should have demanded extraordinary care in his incarceration oversight. It did not. To me, that is the question that looms the largest. For all the connections that it was projected he could have with liberal pedos, this extraordinary oversight was totally lacking.

It would be like having a mafia witness in protective custody and then the guards leave the ''safe house'' and go out for pizza and beer leaving the paper boy behind to guard the witness.

I went deep in the rabbit hole on this one... Every stone I turned over just uncovered more stink. Nothing about the whole process seemed to point to any shred of professionalism on the part of the DOJ or DOC. He was the most high profile inmate possibly of my lifetime, and alas, the biggest perfect storm managed to manifest.

With the amount of high profile individuals he was associated with, I'm past writing off things as coincidences or "convenient".

When you're dealing with a high profile case such as this, any discrepancy is a possible infraction. Any coincidence is possible evidence. These people made it through it being an open secret, to 08' where Epstein plead guilty, got a slap on the wrist and a sweetheart deal where he could still leave the prison and obtain women/girls.... And somehow no one else involved was investigated?

Maxwell is still roaming free, and by all appearances, they're putting the right talking points out in the media to bury this.

Sadly, I don't see many citizens asking much questions after NFL season starts. I'd hate for them to put aside 3 of their 5 fantasy drafts to have some free time to perform civic duty, lol.

There comes a time (assuming he is a decent human being) where he has to ask the question would total honesty cause more damage than getting some fall guy and sweeping he rest under the rug.

We all know some very powerful well connected people have close ties to Epstein, this includes presidents, Ceo's celebrities etc, is it worth risking a run on stocks, or banks if the total truth were revealed and it undermined faith in the govt as much as some think it could?

I'll just leave this here...

Attorney General William Barr’s Personal Ties to Jeffrey Epstein

We could call it the Epstein-Barr virus, but that's already taken.

Mononucleosis also known as mono or kissing disease is an infectious illness caused by Epstein-Barr virus.

Just a trivial think that I found when I was searching myself... But interesting none the lest. Obviously unrelated.

Alas. NFL perseason is Soooo compelling. And let us not forget that Americans are voting in mass numbers. America's Got Talent is now in it's ''live'' season and everyone's favorite acts need to be voted for on live TV. What a freeking thrill participating in democracy is huh?

The gladiators of Rome.

Give the people what they want, and they'll be less inclined to bother your work.

Weird how monumental the year 2008 was.

The great bank bailout, and the great Epstein bailout.

The CEO's of the bank still kept their jobs and bonuses, Epstein his operation.

Absolutely we risk it. We've gotten through every moment of adversity we've ever encountered, and the only time we don't come out on top is when we are to meek to go head on firing all cylinders.

Iceland put the bankers involved in jail, let the banks default, and after a brief disruption of their market. They made a full recovery.

Lately I worry that America's laziness has allowed us to turn a blind eye under the guise of "it could tear our institutions down"... Nothing could be a bigger threat to our democracy than this nation's apathy.

Exactly, pull the whole system down if need be, let the inevitable collapse happen. Bank runs, stock market collapse, governmental collapse, all of it.

You mean true capitalism and democracy? Let the market and the people decide?

I don't like it (jk).

Dont get me wrong, I agree we should have total honesty, just that I can see from his perspective where sweeping it under the rug would be preferable.

I've said in other threads one of my theories is they squashed it for continuity of western governments. If this came out it could cause serious questioning.... And I get that line of thought for many who are in power, even those who don't engage in such treachery.

But better to rip the band aid off now, get through the sting and we all collectively heal while (I'd hope) a new age of participation from that masses to prevent us allowing the government to drift off into such waters again.

Fact is we have an opportunity. We restore trust by rising to the occasion, collectively... Or we turn a blind eye and let the tumor grow till it metastasizes to the point we can not cut it out.
