THey did their damndest not to, they thought it was enough.

So you admit the dem libs actually have to do something for the Republican
party to lose? And to say it another way democrats actually have to make an
effort to win. And yet another way, the libs can't just win because they choose
to, this time or ever? They actually have to do something rather than flick a
light switch? They have to get the votes or they lose.

They thought they had it in the bag last time.
The FBI is clearly not working for the people, neither is the CIA. The NSA is just there to give them anything they could ever want to know.

I wouldn't be surprised if members of the EC started getting told how to vote, under no uncertain terms.

Showing no ignorance just an alternate opinion to the dumpster fire that is Americans need to kill other Americans to save the republic

I hope to god youre right, that that isnt needed, but , Im not sure youre aware without livnig here just how much our republic teeters on the edge, some of us do, and to be quite honest we dont want to end up like Europe that arrests people for memes and insulting people on social media, that sort of thing is why we left in the first place.

My hope it never happens, where as some Americans on this very site will be dissapointed if it doesnt, but I will wallow in my ignorance from across the pond.

I hope it doesnt either, Im an old man and probably woudnt live to see the end of it, but I do have children and grand children i would prefer not to have to go through such a thing.

I do agree with you though, there are some that really want this to happen, on both sides, and I find that the hight of ignorance and foolishness on OUR end for those that do, i feel that its mostly those who do not know what war brings that are the cheerleaders, they dont know how it affects their families and how dirty a civil war is , they only see whats been on TV and glorified.

Theyve never had to pick up the parts of someone they cared about.

You forgot the "hanging Chad" debacle with the Florida ballots.
Because of that, paper will be out.

I see computer screens and mouse clicks in the future for voting...

I would personally refer that Trump was adducted by aliens so that Pence could be president, but being realistic Trump has about 52% chance of becoming president as voter demographics haven't changed much in the last 4 years.

For every voter that Turmp loses by doing or saying something stupid he will gain another voter who is alarmed about how far left the Democrats are swinging.

Right now, Trump is the only person who is even talking about reducing immigration, or expelling immigrants who commit serious crimes, which is a hot button issue for a lot of people. The democrats just accuse everybody who talks about immigration of being a racist, but there are a lot of liberals and democrat voters out there who are concerned about immigration and see trump as their only choice when it comes reducing immigration.

I supported Obama, I would much rather have Clinton as president today than Trump (I'd prefer more Obama ... but that can't happen), but I seriously could not bring myself to vote for most current democrat candidates. And I'm not alone in this. Given the choice between Trump destroying the country through incompetence and a radical leftist SJW democrat doing it on purpose ... I might bite my tongue and vote Trump.

THank you for this, your wit was not lost! thank you for your thoughts

If you are correct, the next election will be the opening shots of the next civil war.

LOL, Americans desperate to kill each other over.....politics

just wow

I think there scheme of divide and conquer has worked beyond their wildest dreams

It's not that simple. It's not about "politcs" per sey. It is about belief in the Constitution, particularly the first two amendments.
It is about not wanting a socialistic government controlling ppl, and their freedom. It is about controlling our borders, and protecting the high standard of living most Americans enjoy. It is about ppl being left alone to believe what they want, and do as they please so long as it isn't infringing on another's rights.

Personally, I would hate to see things decline into civil war. Violence is usually not tge answer to a problem, but there are those who understand nothing else.

I take their word when they say Trump can not be re elected "by any means necessary"

They have to get the votes or they lose.

1. Do they? Really? and who will make sure that happens? Especially since the electoral college is in question and in threat.

2. Even the FBI was involved the last time, and now Trump is even more of a threat to the FBI and CIA, and establishment pushing more investigations into both, how much harder you think they will try now to maintain their reign?

Exactly

But all those beliefs are considered extremist and racist now.

Well I'll be damned if I post a video that backs you up on that. I might interrupt

So if Trump loses it is because of a rigged election because the lefty media and the alphabet(cia, FBI, ect..) want Trump out?

You are right, I don't get your point. I think Trump proved in 2016 there is no such thing as bad media coverage, the smear stories apparently helped fuel his popularity.

I'm humoring the first part of your post, but I don't think it's a sure thing he will lose.

I think both parties started seeing their decline from the 60's-80's, after that ushered in more homogeneous establishment institutions. People have started catching on, and if you look at the latest political movements, the country really is in favor of anti-establishment types. The left first started with Obama who's campaign focused on hope and change, he really promised to take a different direction for many different areas with his platform.... As many saw, he brought more of the status quo, and the few areas he did seek change in, it bit us in the ass.

Fast forward to last election, we saw both parties gravitating towards Bernie, and Trump, both very different from the mainstream parties they ran for. We saw what happened to Bernie, and now we have Trump. Up until 2016, the Republican ran tired old men who offered no inspiration (for recent elections), many people (even Republicans) were losing hope in the party. Trump has since brought back some independents and realigned and galvanized the Republicans. For me it seems like it's just business as usual, and I'm starting to think perhaps he is just like Obama in that there are a lot of promises made, but the ones kept seem to keep status quo in place.

Personally I wouldn't be surprised if at Trump's age, he bows out, and rumor has it possibly put Ivanka in his spot next summer to keep the namesake in power, she gets first female presidency, and he still has influence in decision making while taking a step back for his golden years.

Time will tell... But one thing is for sure, the left doesn't have a chance if they don't unite behind meaningful candidate on the ticket.

I most likely will find a 3rd party or bow out of this next one unless someone really wows me.

What president hasn't been accused of illegitimacy in recent history?

Clinton- Ross Perot got him there
Bush- Hanging chads and Florida recount (second term)
Obama- Kenya Muslim
Trump- Russia

Both parties are unwilling to accept when they lose.

And a good one at that. The left are focusing their energy on Trump while completely ignoring who the real enemy of the people is.

Meanwhile the right are distracted by the leftist attacks on Trump.

Then we have the rest of us who see through the left vs right facade, unfortunately there are not many of us.
