My guess is Trump will lose for these reasons:

- Hillary ran a horrible campaign. She represented the corrupt and evil establishment that everyone was so fed up with however most people still saw her as the lesser of two evils and were willing to hold their nose to vote for her just to stop a clown like Trump from becoming president. But Hillary was just so bad in her arrogance that she pushed a lot of people over the line to simply abstain from voting because the media made it seem like Hillary had a slam dunk win anyway and Trump had no chance of winning. So they did not see the urgency of the situation because the polls were totally skewed and terribly wrong. And so this chunk of non voters who had the biggest impact in the last election will not take anything for granted in the next election no matter what the polls say. This time they are going to go out and vote him out since in the minds of most of these non voters it still holds true that anybody is better than Trump.

- There were also a number of independents and Bernie supporters that actually decided to vote for Trump over Hillary. They saw Trump kind of like the necessary poison to swallow to get rid of Clinton. But Trump was never the end goal at all, he just seemed like a less organized and calculated evil and easier to get rid of later than Clinton if she had won. So I doubt that this group of voters will want to vote Trump into a second term considering they never really wanted him in the first place and only voted for him to get rid of Clinton. So now that Hillary is out of the picture and I don't see anybody from the new democratic candidates that is disliked as much as Hillary and Trumps popularity seems to be in the gutter lately. So it's likely that the democratic candidate will become the lesser of two evils for this group of voters.

- Most Americans don't want to gamble with giving power to a possibly racist ego maniac president that in a worse case scenario could turn into a mild version of Kim Jong if they reward him with a second term. Sure many people are concerned about the immigration issue but they want this solved in a humane, sensible and smart way and Trump has proven he is incapable of that. There are priorities in life and most Americans don't want to see kids being separated and put into cages and this escalating any further in that disturbing direction. Nobody wants to support a president that reminds people of concentration camps as he tries to tackle the immigration problem. That's just not going to fly, period. And whether these issues about immigrants and their kids being mistreated are real, fake or just exaggerated by the media the fact is that they are very real in the minds of most Americans and that's what matters. Blame the media if you want, but the fact is it's also the words that come out from Trump's own mouth and his tweets that in some way corroborate to most Americans that we are dealing with, if not a racist, in the very least a highly insensitive and narcissistic person who has little concern about the rights and needs of all the many groups and minorities he has managed to insult and disregard with his comments and actions. Who wants to take a chance with someone like that in the long run? And you can only blame Trump and his constant barrage of gross things he says for that. It's not just the big bad media. It's his very own words.

- The US has never felt so divided as it feels now. The atmosphere that has been fueled under Trumps presidency is the most polarized and toxic that the country has seen in a while. In the beginning maybe it was fun to see the big bad clown go after the big bad establishment until you remember that he is really just part of the same privileged group and establishment we complain about. And whether he is just pandering to his base or really means the things he says the fact is the atmosphere in the country feels much worse than it was before and it's not making most people feel great about America, quite the opposite.

- A possible recession. The over spending, the trade wars and market instability. Ok folks let's at least admit that it's possible he might have no idea what he is doing in regards to the economy. Apparently he is a failed business man who inherited $400 million from his father and managed to lose over 1 billion. So let's consider the possibility that he might be the worse person to be driving the direction of the countries economy. And if we are hit with a recession before the elections it will most likely kill any chances he had of being re-elected.

- Trumps total disregard for the environment. Ok sure you are skeptical of the so called climate change, that's fair since its a complex issue that scientists don't seem to totally understand either. However you can not deny that we we have an environmental crisis in the world. You only need your own eyes and to do a little traveling around the world to see the severity of this. The rate of deforestation everywhere, the pollution in the oceans and massive population spiraling out of control and in todays age there is no escaping because what happens in one side of the world will eventually spill into the rest of the world because we have reached a level of technological advancement where we can create great damage very quickly and its a small world after all. Things could get harder for everyone if we don't take urgent measures to curve the damage and immigration issues could become so much worse if we force people in some regions of the world to have to flea because of environmental degradation, desertification, pollution, etc. It's already happening in lot's of places. That's why a healthy planet is actually everyones problem and the younger generations are totally on board with this and the environmental awareness is high on their list of priorities and they are not going to vote for a douche who has zero environmental awareness like Trump. The well being of the planet and humanity as a whole is too precious to be left in the hands of one fool. If the ship goes down Trump jumps into his helicopter and flies to some luxury bunker after blaming the Chinese and the poor pay the hard price.

I could go on but these are some of the reasons why I think Trump will probably lose. I could be wrong of course since you never know and the left is nothing to brag about but I don't see anybody of the current democratic candidates that is disliked as much as Hillary was in the past election whereas Trump's approval seems to be worse than it has ever been. Of course his base will disagree but they are obviously not the measure of how popular he really is overall.

We will have to wait for election day to really know.

I keep hearing this but what exactly would be the benefit of a civil war?

I see no purpose for it and I see no winners. It makes absolutely no sense at all.

Also...

1) Trump is the biggest dumpster fire in presidential history..

That is why he will get no second term..

Hell I doubt he runs again, because he can only lose..

If he loses the next time, the first time will be considered a fluke..

He will lose all or most of the cool points for winning that election..

HOWEVER, if he doesn’t run . He never lost.. he only ever won..

Trump doesn’t care about his supporters or America.. he cares about his reputation.. nothing else..

Why risk losing the reputation for winning the presidency after your the first president not to get a second term in decades???

To help Americans lmao???

So, if he does win..

Will you be joining the tens of thousands of other Liberals out in the streets to scream helplessly at the sky..?

I seem to remember similar predictions and banter prior to the results of the last election.

Keep in mind that this was before TDS set in proper and Progressive Libs world wide started to talk and act like total loons, causing a massive (and ongoing), Walk Away trend amongst their own kind.

Seriously, if you think that the Progressive, Socialist Left has greater numbers (as specially at this point), you are truly delusional..!!

The only way the Left is getting back into full power is by subterfuge or physical force, at which point, they may have finally pushed the conservative camp well past their limits of reservation.

I think that's the plan. What stands in the way of their goals? The constitution? What's the fast track to replacing it? A civil war that the originalists don't win.

These fools don't seem to realize trump has been campaigning for a second term for two years already. He was the only president in history to file his re-election campaign paperwork in his first year. Trump has had a plan and has executed it with precision. If you can't see it, you're not looking. He's not quiet about it.

Yep. and it's happening all over again.

Most Americans don't want to gamble with giving power to a possibly racist ego maniac president that in a worse case scenario could turn into a mild version of Kim Jong if they reward him with a second term.

Most americans don't want to go socialist or communist either. In this case, the devil that you know (trump) is better than the socialist devil that you don't.

The US has never felt so divided as it feels now.

It's funny you should say that, there was just a poll about this very thing and people said it is much more united now than it was before trump. What you are seeing is the media division and you're projecting that onto americans as a whole.

A possible recession. The over spending, the trade wars and market instability. Ok folks let's at least admit that it's possible he might have no idea what he is doing in regards to the economy.

There will be no recession that is felt on main street. The investor class may get a little ding from the trade war, but main street hasn't done this well in decades and there is enough padding in the job market that any losses won't dig into the labor force, rather into the surplus of job openings.

If there's one thing trump knows exactly what he's doing on, it's the economy.

Trumps total disregard for the environment. Ok sure you are skeptical of the so called climate change, that's fair since its a complex issue that scientists don't seem to totally understand either. However you can not deny that we we have an environmental crisis in the world.

Trump isn't president of the world. He's president of the US. We have no environmental crisis in the US. Unless of course you want to talk about the poop filled streets of san francisco or the bubonic plague and typhus warnings emanating from los angeles. Coincidentally, that's what the alternative to trump is. That's what democrats bring. He has some great examples to highlight when biden takes the stage with him.

Trump's approval seems to be worse than it has ever been.

He's actually just barely off his all time highs which happened in July.

Who the hell would even turn up to fight in this day of age bar the mad bastard extremists?

Anybody stupid enough to be willing to go to war and kill their brothers, fellow citizens, and neighbors over politics has to be a couple of tinnies short of a six-pack and then some.

Let the politicians fight there ""cival wars"" nevermind all the rest and there won't be any in the entirety!

Trump was elected simply because he was the symbol of the populations discontent with the status quo. People didn't really vote FOR Trump, they voted against another globalist puppet in the form of Hillary Clinton. If he is removed that same population will realize that a political solution is not possible. What do you think their reaction might be? I think there will be mass civil unrest, and the globalists in control of our government will be forcibly removed, probably with the help of the military that is still loyal to the country.I believe the military has had Trumps back through all of this, its why the globalist left wont push it too far. I think the other side realizes this so they wont try to steal the election because it will innitiate the end for them. They are afraid of this, why do you think they are so helbent to repeal the second ammendment? Their power is granted them by US and our good graces, and they know it, although some of us dont realize it. Watch the democratic debates again, you can SEE the fear in their eyes.

I think Trump will lose because the states that he won in the last election (Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Florida) may not vote for him again. The polls so far favor Biden. This isn't a conspiracy. Hillary won the popular vote last time and it was those states that gave Trump the Presidency.

I agree that the American people didn't vote "for" Trump as much as they voted against the system. Where I disagree is with your belief that the American people will revolt.

I think the American people are way too content and complacent to rock the boat. Until our backs are against the wall and the people are without choice, then and only then may they be willing to fight back. As long as they can hold on to the illusion that they are in control, that they actually "own" things, that they actually have "rights", and they can post their memes, they will go along with the system and just bitch about how broken it is.

Most Americans are not big on sacrifice, our children have been brainwashed to believe that their well being is someone else's responsibility, and all the world's ills lie at the feet of the American Baby Boomers.

If this is not turned around, and very quickly, the games will begin in full force. I don't know why, but so much of what is happening reminds me of Orson Scott's Card's "Ender's Game". Just that the game and the ending will be very different.

By the time he's finished, he'll convince himself to vote for Trump 💫💫😎😎💫💫

If they did any of that and Trump thought for one second that they were going to try any of that stuff, he would install Martial Law, thus making him the President until he felt that everything was under control. That includes Military Force now, thanks to Bush, his Patriot Act 2 and Obama and his NDAA, both of which I detest. I digress; It's Trump's privilege as President to call on Martial Law whenever he sees fit, via Executive Order.

If he did lose, it would be like a leftist iron curtain has fallen upon the people in some sort of upside down world.

I don't think the American people, after everything they've seen from the left are going to vote for some sort of dystopian socialist world.

They've lost their relevancy imho, and hatred only goes so far.

I see a waning crescent of a hardened heart and a mind firmly shut, relative to the prospect of a new age of reason.

That said, there is a certain level of Trump fatigue setting in among some people particularly if they watch too much TV, but it's a shrinking audience.

The contrast, has never been starker, however, or more at stake - so I think the American people will prevail again, while giving Trump a mandate to carry out the agenda for the nation, and the world - peace and prosperity.

I think that Trump has set the stage to strike like lightening on many fronts. And without any bloodshed.

I see it in terms of a modern day bloodless Revolution, may the true Patriots & White Hats win the day.
