It's his tie...get rid of the red necktie...if you wear a red necktie, then you get no respect.

Seriously, though. Could this guy not be more of a snowflake? Also, someone please tell him that respect is earned, not given. I doubt "Silver Spoon" Donnie knows a lick about earning anything.

5 to 10 years from now I bet people will pine about how great it would have been if they became a us territory.

From another thread about this, I wrote:

Hey!

I got an offer!

I want to buy this "white house" you have. You don't need it, its old and useless, broken down, too. I heard there were libtards in it recently, too, so it will be full of drugs and majiruana and pornos, so I have to deduct those from the price, too! How about a very, VERY generous offer?

Because, what? Its just an old house?!

...
Oooh, and something else:

Denmark *might* have hindered the NorthStream II (gas-pipeline from Russia to Germany, Trump hates it).

Now, Denmark has definitely less intention to work for the USA.

It is the most strategic landmass in proximity to North America. Very instrumental in detecting any missile launches around the world, also a strategic area to launch the "first resonders" to meet any incoming bombers. Not the first time an offer was made, at least 2 other Presidents have made offers, and I bet other attempts have been made behind the scenes.

Also very important to our Space programs in that they monitor satellites, space junk, communications. I wish he would go through with his visit, I think something else may have come up, but dumb of him to tie it together. However, I do believe that the US has had a wish for Greenland for a long time, Trump just shows his cards

And if we were to act as the left is in this thread, our reply would go a little something like this:

No, you can't buy our white house. That is the most disrespectful thing you could have offered. Plus, just the fact that you plan on coming to look at the property will cause major distress on the surrounding community. You have to be the rudest person in the world for even considering it, even if joking.

Trump should offer them a trade - Greenland for Puerto Rico. We'd get what we want and they'd get some nice sandy beaches to vacay on. Win-win

I haven't really been following this that much actually can someone explain the following to me without political bias:

Why did Trump want to buy Greenland?

Why did Trump suggest buying Greenland?

To bring attention to Denmark.
China eyeing Greenland

Also, I hear that Greenland is striving for independence.
I believe that is the larger take away as china is eyeing the island itself.

Our Treasonous media laughs and scoffs at our POTUS, yet people ignore chinas interest in the region.

The US won't let china gain that kind of access, with or without the Danes approval, sometimes you gotta pull the SuperPower card and pick up the dominoes afterwards.

Then the USA can prepare for all-out war with Europe!

If Trump tried to annex Denmark, the whole of Europe would rise up and defend its Northern European brother nation (despite the existence of NATO).

It would not be an easy fight.

NATO: Civil War

hahaha so funny... I'm sure they'd defend their neighbors just like they did during WW1 and WW2, oh that's not what happened?

Lets be real, if anyone is going to try to go to war with Denmark, it would be another European "Brother nation" No one loves invading European Countries more then other European Countries.

It's not the first time the United States has offered to purchase Greenland, so not sure why all the false outrage. We offered a 100 million to Denmark back in the 40's. Actually had a tentative agreement which eventually fell thru. Another attempt was made by another President. It's a very strategic area for the US which is why an agreement was worked out for military installations located there. The President is acutely aware of just how important it is strategically and floated another idea, at least he is thinking in the strategic interests of America.

LOL @ everyone focusing on purchasing Greenland.

For clarification: Supposedly, Denmark is considering a Chinese air force presence in Greenland.

Lol... I cant even imagine chinese soldiers walking around in the snow up there xD

No... Trump wants what Greenland has under the snow.... oil and minerals. Same story all over again. Money money money
