There is a simple reality here and that is that the city of Rachel, Nevada cannot handle more than say 50 people at any given time.

To have 100,000 people converge is simply an impossibility. One only has to look at the experience of Woodstock and the 3 day trek many had to to take to even get there.

Having been there a few times, its in the middle of the desert with ZERO infrastructure.

Having spotted at Jedi in Death Valley the total lack of preparation people have is staggering and thats at most a few hundred.

The other aspect is that it will simply give the Feds a reason to annex more territory and push legitimate spotters even further away that 20 miles

I hadn't even thought about that. Tikaboo peak is about 26 miles out i think.
They would probably go at least 30 miles to make sure.

Cause and effect. Looking at the geography and given that the vast majority of Nevada is owned by the feds, they may be able to completely secure it from any sort of spotting.
