If rape or incest is involved the individual should have sought medical attention sooner than the second or third trimester. After bodily fluids are exchanged one should immediately seek help to prevent pregnancy. I think RU486 should be available for that purpose.

I think you will now address the stigma of rape or incest. Women afraid to come out. Hey with all the crazy crap the left jams down our throat I do not consider it a stigma any more. Forcing society to not address people by their gender birth, drag queen story hour, and parading a 10 year old in drag at a gay bar is beyond the pale with main stream media promoting its cuteness. Pleeeease.

And federal money? I figure they will come up with a diagnosis that will seem to fit that. If you do not think that is happening you are fooling yourself.

Lets also address selling baby parts. Don't think that is a bit morbid?

Do you even know what the new rules even are?
It doesnt sound like you do.
I think it's you who is not getting it!

Let's take it out of the abortion arena and use my little church operated daycare center. The govt subsidizes the daycare for low income families. Many of these church operated daycare centers can and do provide care for these low income families and get reimbursed by the govt.
There are strings attached though, one of them being just keep religion out of it. And I think most of the daycare centers abide by this rule and the govt is just taking their word for it when they say they are..
Well, what the govt is doing to planned parenthood would be akin to telling that church that they cant have that childcare at the church, that their budget has to be completely separate from the churches because there is no way we can be sure that the federal funds aren't going to religious purposes..
But they are going beyond that, by saying that anyone working on the title x side can even refer a patient to a place where abortions are performed and depending on the article you are reading, they might not be able to reccomend an abortion when circumstances merit it.
And, this rule applies to all clinics, doctors, and hospitals that are involved in the title x program. Many hospitals have a little family clinic within them, connected to them. Well, they are gonna have to find a new home for them and get some accountants working at separating the books! And where the little family clinic might have detected a problem in a pregnancy that warranted a closer look or maybe a termination instead of just contacting another office in the same building and setting up an appointment, well, I am not sure what.
Also, that little family clinic might be sharing machinery with the larger hospital, so I guess they will have to buy their own sonagram or the problem won't be detected in soon.

Umm. Ya.. children having children is so grand!!

Nothing I said picked out what term a pregnancy is in at the time of the abortion!! But ya, let's make it out that they are all late term! It fits the stereotype of the irresponsible nyphomanuacs that obviously all women (and young girls) fit so nicely into!
I'll just take your rant to mean you just have a problem with federal funds being used for abortions, regardless of the circumstances.
Fine, but let's just strip all the federal funds from the healthcare system since I see no reason why any women should have to pitch into that pot to help others if they are gonna be out in the cold left to die because society refuses to help her in her time of need!

Utter nonsense.
The govt. have decided that they will not use tax payer funds for abortion services.
It's that simple.

PP decided they would remove themselves from TitleX.

Your comparison is nonsensical. Quite why you have to speculate that a small church might be using funds for day care of children for religious purposes is beyond any reasonable argument. If a church is found to be breaking the rules I am quite sure they would also be told to stop what they were doing. Indeed it was Obama who signed an executive order to police such more effectively. I bet you were not up in arms then, were you?

This is all so very simple, yet the utter nonsense, hypocrisy and emotional blackmail tactics are oh so typical.
All PP had to do was to keep abortion services separate.
It is THEY who have decided they don't want funding.

Did you just figure that out? Good for you limey!

The govt decided that law in 1973.

PP decided they would remove themselves from TitleX.

PP decided to remove themselves from Title X because of Trump's gag rule, out of principle.

Make no mistake, this is an executive order that can be overturned by the next president. It's not a law, not an act or a constitutional amendment.

Just in time for the 2020 elections, millions of women with be feeling the vacuum of PP's absence and the burden that Trump's gag rule has placed on them. They will vote against Trump for someone who will defend their rights.

Show me where pp has been found to break the rules.. if they have, it should be rather easy to do, I mean they've been scrutinized far more that any church group who is taking govt funding of various kinds.
And, by the way, those catholic hospitals that are using there "religious beliefs" as justification to deviate so far away from what is considered to be standard medical practice also gets reimbursements from the govt for the services they provides... even if that service consists of sending away a women in the process of miscarrying day after day till she collapses onto their er floor and finally delivers a stillborn child... oh dont worry though, they were more than happy to provide her a bed then and treat her for the sepsis she had developed over the time they were messing around with her life, and of course charge her, or the insurance company, or maybe the govt for that care...

So because you woke up and went to work today it's your responsibility to help in killing someone else's baby.

That's sort of their argument in a lot of things...
Because you woke up and went to work it's your responsibility to pay for the Kept voters
Because you woke up and went to work it's your responsibility to pay for illegal immigrant health care
Because you woke up and went to work it's your responsibility to pay carbon taxes
Because you woke up and went to work it's your responsibility to pay more for an Egg McMuffin so Micky D's can cover the $15 an hour "living wage" the law will require them to pay

Ayn Rand was wrong... Atlas isn't going to shrug, one of these days he's just going to say "Eff it" hit the snooze button, and start sleeping in, enjoying the gravy train he/we have been shafted with the bill for for too many years now.

The services that have NOW been prohibited under a NEW set of rules are:

The rule does not prohibit medical providers from discussing abortion with patients, but prevents them from telling patients where they can obtain one. The rule's requirements also include financial separation from facilities that provide abortion, designating abortion counseling as optional instead of standard practice, and limiting which staff members can discuss abortion with patients. Clinics would have until next March to separate their office space and examination rooms from the physical facilities of providers that offer abortions.

This 'limey' seems to know more than you, yank.

Planned Parenthood said Monday it’s pulling out of the federal family planning program rather than abide by a new Trump administration rule prohibiting clinics from referring women for abortions.

Which you seem to think is some sort of indication that they have been

And, you're not addressing the muzzle the govt wants to slap on the family planning clinics and the effect that might have on womens healthcare or what effect this change might have on other family planning clinics in the country, like the ones I mentioned that are being run as a part of hospitals.. one being a major university hospital I was referred to a few times, when one son was tested for cystic fibrosis, for another when he began having seizures.
Ever think that maybe the cost of moving their clinics out of the main building and totally separating them from the hospital might amount to more than than the title x funding? Either way they go, the cost is gonna be spread throughout the hospital services because they are not just gonna stop all of the abortions not are they gonna close down their family planning clinic. Meanwhile, some are saying that when they leave the title x program, they might also get kicked off of another program that allows the to get drugs, IUDs and such at reduced cost.. so, it might increase costs that way also.
Newsflash people. The main problem with our healthcare system is no one can afford it! But by all means jump at the opportunity to increase the costs!!

What I believe or you believe is not really relevant against the fact that PP decided to withdraw from the program. No one withdrew their funds. So, if other areas of PP suffer and women suffer because of it, blame them. It's entirely their fault. They have defunded a major part of their service because they don't want to comply with new rules on abortion services.

Some states have opted out also, I think its nieve to think that there isnt a few hospitals, doctors offices and such making the same decision and we are just hearing about planned parenthood. So, I guess if you or someone who know has a kid that needs such a specialized test like those i mentioned and get sent to a major hospital who are equipped to do it, well they can just blame the hospital if it cost an extra $50-$100.
