yep only 333k abortions in 18

small part right....

Well they say 9.5 million discrete services and that number can be skewed any which way. They do say that they see 2.5 million patients with about 333,000 of them getting abortions and that is rather significant number to suggest "very small part" of their services.

3.4% which are abortions, is a very small part of their services.

Did you want to bandy about the numbers of people your military killed over the years?

During the 2017-2018 fiscal year, Planned Parenthood reported an income of $1.67 billion, of which $631 million (38 percent) came from private contributions. Taxpayer funding increased from $543.7 million in 2016-2017 to $563.8 million, reaching nearly 34 percent of Planned Parenthood's revenue. The abortion giant's taxpayer funding has increased more than 55 percent in the past ten years.

Where the money comes from.

Planned Parenthood performed 332,757 abortions in 2017-2018, an increase of more than 11,000 from the previous year, and 3,280,520 abortions in the past ten years. Abortions made up a whopping 96 percent — ninety-six percent — of Planned Parenthood's pregnancy resolution services. Prenatal services accounted for 2.6 percent, miscarriage care took up 0.5 percent, and adoption referrals accounted for a mere 0.8 percent of pregnancy resolution services.

For every adoption referral, Planned Parenthood performed more than 117 abortions. It has been even worse in recent years. Over the past decade, the group performed approximately 148 abortions for every adoption referral. Is it any wonder hundreds of thousands of Americans march against a war on the unborn?

Not only have abortions increased at PP, but their other pregnancy services are down and an insignificant fraction of pregnancy services provided.

They counsel abortion which is why there is only 1 adoption referral to every 117 abortions, but that's what happens when fetal body parts are a lucrative business to be in.

Meanwhile, over the past ten years, total services are down 11.5 percent and total cancer screening and prevention services have dropped by nearly 67 percent — breast exams fell by 64 percent and pap tests dropped by 70 percent. Prenatal services are down by nearly 78 percent from their peak in 2009. Even contraceptive services have dropped by more than 31 percent in the past decade.

Not only that, but abortions are the only business Planned Parenthood has that's increasing. All the other services that are "so vital" have been dropping steadily over the past decade in all contravention of what you all are crying about.

So it appears the only business worth doing according to PLanned Parenthood is abortion. They still received Medicaid monies for it, and they could easily have gone back the other way with this Title X decision, but they chose not to. It tells you which is more important to them: medical services or abortions.

On the low side
18,000 prenatal service
935,000 brest exams Pap tests.

So if we compare 333,000 to 18,000 it is a rather large part of what they do, AND more important its where their money is made.

And, they will still be providing those abortions now.
This new rule won't change that one iota.
What might change is the number of patients who are getting those other services. To what extent depends on planned parenthood's willingness to eat the cost of providing that care to patients that would have qualified for the title x program who dont have the resources to pay for those services themselves. Lol, you act like it will hurt planned parenthood to just up and refuse to provide their services free of charge. I dont think it would. It would hurt them more to eat that cost and provide the free service.
So, well, who do you think this will hurt? Do you think planned parenthood will be willing to bankrupt themselves to provide free services or do you thing they will start sending the people elsewhere?
I think they will do their best to serve everyone, but I dont expect them to allow those clinic to run a deficit and have to shut their doors trying to. Title x doesnt cover that big of their client base. They can operate just fine without the funds and the clients.

And I am surprised no one is mentioning all the states that are pulling out of the program also..
Which means that some of those clinics you are thinking can pick up the slack might lose their funding also?
