Just breaking so I'll add further links as necessary..

Well, this is going to piss a lot of folks off and also make a lot of folks happy. I predict that Trump will now be confirmed by the leftist corporate media and their online muppets as a woman hating misogynist who wants to dictate womens reproductive rights.

On the plus side, I'm sure that planned parenthood will survive in the private sector just fine, they can start advertising to raise revenue to keep their clinics open and then the laws of supply & demand can dictate their future without the need for government handouts. Abortion is big business, I'm sure PP will find a way to make profits from abortions through strategic marketing towards specific demographics.

Surely PP can survive without government handouts, right? - this should just be a mere blip in their ongoing endeavours to provide adequate services for their clientele?

Well, I suppose in the coming hours and days, it will become apparent as to exactly why Trump is evil incarnate for doing this.

Cheers

I imagine the women that supported trump knew he would do this given the chance . And won’t be going anywhere .

The women against Trump wouldn’t support him if he gave out vouchers for abortion .

The evangelicals will be ecstatic.

This move will not hurt POTUS in the least.

I would love to see adoption laws made easier, and I would love to see this money go towards helping these women afford to keep their babies.

Once again Trump panders to his ignorant base instead of bashing decisions off of facts.

Can't wait for the number of new AIDS cases to explode just like what happened in Indiana when Pence defunded PP.

The abortion aspect of Planned Parenthood was partially defunded by the administration 2 months ago and a federal judge upheld it last week.

So the piece by piece de-funding continues.

Since most murdered babies are minorities, democrats should be glad that the Trump Administration is pushing to allow more minority births.

Outstanding! Best news I've heard in awhile now. He needs to refocus more on the remaining campaign promises and stop wasting his time trying to compromise with those who only wish to see him struggle.

The suggestion that the government should pay women to not murder their babies is absurd. I see your point but it is still outrageous.

Well that would be socialism. We can't actually help support these children. The same ones that would have been born regardless because Medicaid doesn't cover abortions.

Well, let's see where your head space is at. Based upon the 2016 voter count of approx 120M people, what % of those 120M are in favour of abortion?

Simple question requiring your best guess.....

So much for the media saying he doesn't keep promises.

Anytime someone say's he doesn't keep promises, somebody should reply with, are you sure you want him to?

Totally agree with the adoption idea.
As for keeping their babies, how much more assistance is needed beyond what is already available?

I would much rather see funding for birth control.

Trump single handedly just encouraged young women to vote. Roe v. Wade has always been a loosing proposition for the GOP.

Let's see where your headspace is at? PP's government funding comes in the form of Medicaid. The majority of this funding goes to the Midwest. How do you think poor, rural, Midwesterners (aka a key part of Trump's base) are going to react when they can no longer go to their most convenient medical facility?

Should we also "defund" hospitals that perform abortions? I mean isn't that the justification for defunding PP? They perform abortions even though no government money goes to pay for those abortions. So clearly we should also disallow hospitals that perform abortions from receiving Medicaid patients.

Hell, why stop there? We should just ban the poor from receiving any kind of medical treatment. That seems to be the mentality of the Right at this point.

You mean like Obamacare provided and the Right vehemently argued against until Trump removed said funding?

WHAT!?!? Studies have shown that outbreak was fueled by IV drug users and had nothing to do with PP.

By all means, don't let facts get in the way of your desired narrative, though.

Looks like trump just re energized an industry among the clothes hanger and lysol crowd.

I doubt if trump wants to have taxpayers pay for birthcontrol either.

Can't wait for 40% of women voters to be called "misogynists" by the media and the liberals the same way they were called "racists" in 2016 for voting for Trump when their narrative pimps instructed them to vote for Hillary Clinton...
