Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't there supposed to be 60k emails? The FBI had 30k to look through but her lawyers deleted another 30k. That's how I remember the story. If that's accurate, why do all of the stories about backups only include 30k emails?

It will be verifiable. gmail can prove or disprove the legitimacy of the emails regardless of whether they contain x or y as content.
