From your link:

NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. – Six F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft from the United States Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron, the Thunderbirds, will join the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, the Royal Air Force Red Arrows and a formation of F-35A Lightning IIs during an aerial parade over the Hudson River at approximately 9:30 on Thursday, August 22, 2019. Viewers can expect to see multiple iconic aircraft formations flying by the Manhattan skyline in a sequenced display of teamwork and airmanship.

WHAT: A 6-ship Thunderbird Delta Formation will fly over the Hudson River along the Manhattan skyline in sequence with a 6-ship Blue Angel Formation, a 9-ship Red Arrow formation, and a 2-ship F-35A Lightning II formation. Yeah yeah, rub it in!

We have our local air display in a few weeks, and we want our Red Arrows back, damnit! 😡

Mind, we still have a pretty good line-up confirmed so far (well, as much as they can be given the nature of the event);

Breitling L-39 Albatross Jets
Battle of Britain Memorial Flight – Spitfire, Hurricane & Dakota
RAF Chinook Display Team
RAF Puma (Helicopter Static)
British Airway Airbus A319 (BAE Colours)
AW609 (Helicopter Static)
Swedish Air Force Historic Flight Saab Viggen
Swedish Air Force Historic Flight Saab Draken
Swedish Air Force Historic Flight Saab Tunnan
Pitts Special
North American OV-10 Bronco
Norwegian Air Force Historic Squadron Mig 15
Mig15
F-86 Sabre
Nord Noratlas
The Flying Circus – Aerosuperbatics
Capital Air Ambulance LearJet
Cessna O-2 Super Skymaster
Bell UH-1 “HUEY”
Hughes OH-6 Cayuse “LOACH 011”
Spitfire Mk XIX

I'm looking forward to this especially;

The Soviet Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-15UTI and American Sabre F-86E have both now been confirmed for the event.

...Speaking about the Korean War-era jets, Deputy Higgins said: ‘There is only one Sabre jet and only two MiG-15s still left flying and we are hoping to get both aircraft having a dogfight over St Aubin’s Bay.
- Local News Story

I won't promise to take lots of photos, as I still have many thousands to sort and process from years gone by, I'll get a few but this year I quite fancy actually watching the event and enjoying it for a change instead of trying to get that one money shot, which rarely happens anyway as my lens is poo, lol

Aww gutted!

I've always said that even if I held a senior position in a banking institution, and I couldn't get air display day off for whatever reason, I'd probably just quit 😂
