It's not about ruthless dictators taking philosophies out of context, it's about what works in the end.

Whether you like it or not, communism is a fake enemy, a boogeyman, something to basically hate on because of what it represents. It's never come to fruition ever, and cant without certain aspects of a society come and go, if you accept its foundations or makes sense.
Capitalism works, or should work, from the bottom up. Not the top down.
Socialism is inetivble when a strong capitalist society is established?
Meaning, its turned upside down. Trickle down.
That's when ideas like socialism come into play to correct it.
Capitalism is freedom so it shouldn't work either way it should work for everyone and every level. It's simply an equal playing field with little regulation.
Trickle down is just a left wing talking point. It's the lefts spin on "a rising tide lifts all boats" that conservatives always tout about capitalism. Look at wage growth under obama vs under trump. Link. This is all due to deregulation and tax cuts. get the government out of people's way and there are more jobs. When there are more jobs there is competition for labor. When there is competition for labor, wages rise. There are currently 7 million open jobs. Jobless claims last month were 210k.
