If they're smart they'll put up Biden. He is the only legitimate candidate that has the illusion of being moderate enough to tap into the great wealth
of moderate voters that are being largely left out in the cold. Only thing is, he's really just a weak centrist that will be bullied into submission
by the authoritarian left much the same as George W. Bush was during his presidency by the authoritarian right.
I know this will be lost on the reactionary authoritarian left (in case you're not familiar with what you actually are you might refer to yourself as
a progressive, democratic socialist or justice democrat) but application matters. It is literally how politics works. If you just keep trying to force
things you'll either win by becoming an evil authoritarian a-hole and complicit in the death and/or oppression of millions, or more likely the
opposite reactionary authoritarian faction will sweep back around and wipe out all of your hard fought progress the next political cycle as has been
the case with the political equivalent to 'Groundhog Day' we've been stuck in for most of the 21st century.
Biden is your horse. Also, not that you likely care since most reactionary authoritarians are utter garbage people that only care about others when
they are useful to them achieving their own selfish aims, but Biden is also the path to pacifying the ridiculous extremism on all sides. At least
optically, anyway. Like I said above, in actuality he'll be a puppet for the new left. But hey, optics matter. Anything to quell the viciousness and
prevent people from dying in the streets.
Personally, I like Yang. He is a good example of someone who may hold a leftist ideology but maintains a moderate temperament. I think he is exactly
what this country needs right now, but, you know, he doesn't stand a chance because the human race has this obsession with acting against their own
