Omar should already be in jail for tax fraud, immigration fraud, and supporting terrorism. Tlaib just needs another donut to shut her hole. I hope they get a bunch of hatred from the citizens of Israel. You know, the same treatment these two give the people of Israel.

I think Israel made the wrong decision here.

Israel's stated reason for denying them entry was based on their support of the BDS movement. Israel could have rolled out the red carpet for them and treated them like royalty. Let them see exactly who they are calling for sanctions against. Then when they get back to the US and they are asked about their trip they wouldn't have a thing to complain about.

I remember a semi-biographical movie about Sammy Davis Jr. The Rat Pack was performing at some casino, and outside the casino there were some klan types protesting about a black Jew performing at the casino. Sammy talks to the other Rat Packers for support, but they just look away in silence.

Sammy goes out to the crowd and says, "I heard you guys couldn't get tickets, so I thought I'd bring the show to you." Then he starts singing for them. The protestors go quiet, then slowly disperse.

Keeping the Squadettes out of Israel only adds fuel to their position.

Not condemning ice attacks means you support terrorism?
Please explain that...

because as far as I was aware terrorism means you strive to create fear and terror in the general public making people afraid to go out or use public transport or go to walmart...

People attacking ICE is not terrorism. Its civil unrest.

So you have nothing to show these women are terrorists except your own hate for them.
Oh and trump telling you to. Lets not forget the puppet strings in play here.

That's an apocryphal story, Sinatra particularly did more to help Sammy and other black performers break into the Vegas scene than anyone. When Sammy was injured in a car accident, and would eventually lose his eye due to this, it was Frank who personally drove him to a hospital because Sammy couldn't get in the 'white' one.

a reply to: VictorVonDoom It is a no win situation for Israel, I agree that by banning them they will only add fuel to the fire. I also think if they let them in they still could. No matter how nice they treat them and allow them to visit and do everything they want to they will come back and say how bad it is they will not change their outlook no matter what. IMO

Wrong as always.

Domestic terrorism: Perpetrated by individuals and/or groups inspired by or associated with primarily U.S.-based movements that espouse extremist ideologies of a political, religious, social, racial, or environmental nature.

No, it is based on their own comments. They have no reason to be there anyways they are US House Members and should get back to their districts and clean them up.

or, in Talibs Own words....Israel "stopped the mothas"....

Too bad one thing does not relate to the other in your post.

Your answer if you want to call it one does not even address what I said.
and you qualified it by adding domestic
.

The unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims.

Terrorism is the use of fear and acts of violence in order to intimidate societies, governments or against an ideology

How does attacking ICE fall in there? Any more than any crime would?

And you know you are pulling the thread off topic with this conversation right?

Sure sounds like you are defending and condoning bombings and gun attacks on government facilities.

Is violence like that acceptable?

My bet is that they knew that they would be rejected and planned it so they could complain about Israel. They will be sending out pre-prepared comments soon.

Yup. This was the plan.

Dozens of other freshmen representatives have gone in the past few weeks to get an idea of what is going on there. Get a feel for the area and the thoughts of the people. But these two... no they should not be allowed....
Do not be absurd.
You all know you are only against these women because trump is and for no other reason.

And his reason is racist so what does that mean here?

It may have been a no-win for Israel, but I think letting them visit and treating them nicely would have been a no-lose. Take the high road, show you're the bigger man, that sort of thing.

Keeping them out lets them say anything about Israel they can imagine. After a courteous visit, Israel can always say, "That's not true. You know better than that. You saw for yourself."

This just seems like a missed PR opportunity for Israel.
