Here I thought Israel was pretty friendly being multicultural and multi religion. Hell, they even protect the Muslims in their own borders. Imagine that.

do they even allow women to visit those areas?

Honestly, I don't know why Israel was even thinking of allowing them in in the first place. It's not like either of them care about Israel or the Jewish People.

Good on Israel. Boycotts work both ways, see?

I hope not, women should be doing more productive things than sightseeing, like laundry.

Israel can't face the facts that their policies are racist and theocratic.
What f'ing century is this again?

Based on a trump tweet.

Insanity.

Both have demonstrated a clear anti-semetic attitude. Tlaib, in particular, has connections to radical Palestinian groups. Why exactly should we expect Israel to tolerate either of them?

This is more of a AIPAC charm event more than anything else and the denial basically does nothing but bolster those supporting the two that were denied. Its a paid lobbying trip. Better to let them go where there message will have ZERO impact rather than add fuel to the fire.

I have no issue with legislators going abroad but rather that its being paid for by a lobby group and lets face it, its highly unlikely that AIPAC will be making a donation to either anyway

Which headline is better:

US Reps denied entry for political reasons or US Reps booed offstage?

As I posted above this is a lobbing event put on by AIPAC.

Omar and Rashida should go there anyway. Test the waters.

That would be a sight to see. Some people can be pretty arrogant in such matters.

Hardly a week goes by that you dont hear about an anti semitic comment?
Omar made one and profusely apologized for it.

In February, Omar, 37, apologized after Democratic leaders condemned remarks she made about the pro-Israel lobby in the United States as using anti-Semitic stereotypes.

Just what has she said since then?
They are going to Israel to tour the west bank and palestinian holdings in the area.

They are muslims after all.

I am sure trump's tweet about them hating israel and ALL JEWISH PEOPLE is exaggerated just a bit.

Isreal should have let them in then detained them indefinitely for supporting terrorism.

Yes, in Israel. Last I heard AIPAC wasn't the government in Israel. They are free to have their event in a country that will allow those two. Problem solved.

Has Omar or Tlabib ever explicitly endorsed Israel's right to exist as a Jewish State in the Middle East? I honestly don't follow them enough to have heard them ever say it. They always just dribble out the clock when asked such questions.

Omar taking an invite from AIPAC.....talk about irony. Follow those Benejmins, Omar. Lol.

I do like how on summer recess, the Dems flock overseas for vacations rather than go home to talk to their constituents.

Have they ever condemned attacks on ICE facilities?

Those are terrorism in your opinion, no?
