That whole region gets some interesting flyovers. Some F-15s today were talking about refueling with a KC-46 for the first time.

There are a number of them flying. They work for ATAC flying aggressor missions against Navy ships.

They operate out of California and Hawaii usually.

You also will spot them off the east coast and Hawaii.

Since you are looking into SoCal, look down the coast. Homeland runs a King Air down there quite often and it lurks off the coast of Mexico

I'm a sucker for Northrop's BWI-based testbeds when they're flying. That frankenstein'd BAC-111 that they have smokes like a mofo on takeoff.
