Caroline Lucas calls for 'all-women emergency cabinet' to stop no-deal Brexit…

I hope it's better than the doomsday predictions, but y'all's govt is starting to make me look at Congress fondly.

Lucas is pretty typical of the Greens, she's a loon. With this suggestion she's managed to do the unthinkable and draw fire from the left and the right, from remain and from leave.

Talk of unity govts, coups is just silly season. Political journalists need to fill pages and some need publicity.

Fortunately after three years of Remainers running the show a leaver is in charge and being kept honest by the brexit party.

The EU won't change it's stance as to do so would lose face so we'll be leaving in october with no deal. That will be that, the sky won't fall and the world won't end. At least we'll be out of this May created purgatory.

What's happened to Caroline Lucas and the Green party?
I used to like them (even Nigel Farage voted for them at one point in the past) but they have lost their main principal (environmental issues) and have gone down this narrow agenda where their main concerns are staying in the EU and continuing uncontrolled immigration. They have forgot or ignore the fact that more people equals more building of houses and infrastructure, and more pollution.

Every time I see Caroline Lucas I can't stop thinking of this hilarious little clip from a few years back when George Osbourne asked her in parliament when is the point she would stop borrowing and run a surplus, and she replied "You stop borrowing when you can no longer afford to pay back"...

Buried low down in the guardian today, an important statement by US Sec State Bolton.
He stated that US UK trade deals will be done sector by sector. Meaning that one of remainers favourite lies, the NHS being privatised by US pharma, will only happen if we elect someone mad enough to do it.

Good stuff about NATO and US UK presence in the Gulf, too.

Of course this stuff just doesn't make the news in the same way as the crazy scare stories the msm likes to push to keep the morons in line.

No she has not lost the plot, nor is she mad. In fact, she's just playing to her supporters and finding another way to get some publicity around subverting Brexit. For some people any publicity is good publicity.

It’s all good fun for the Greens who seem to forget that their beloved EU has presided over rules which have led to huge ecological and environmental degradation – i.e. the Common Agricultural Policy and the Common Fisheries Policy.

I wasn’t being entirely serious with my previous post, but if she thinks she’s doing herself any favours with bad publicity in politics she’s entirely mistaken. It might work for celebrities who need as much publicity as possible good or bad to stay relevant and maintain their status, but dumb sexist ideas in politics are delusional.
