I never said any of it makes it right. I am just saying it is old hat now. Fox is on the defense now where they can set things straight when the left twists things and downplay when things aren't twisted. Only taking jabs at the left when an opportunity arises it makes them seem less culpable than the other media, but it was just the opposite when Obama was in the Whitehouse with pushing medicare death camps, birtherism, golfing, bowing to other national leaders saying he is a Muslim pushing for sharia law. They were slime through and through they twisted everything.

Now the left is following that same model and there really isn't a single news network worth tuning into anymore. They are all slant all the time. The main thing those stations are after is ratings/money. The truth is not their main agenda it is probably very low on whatever list they are ticking off.

Imagine what his ratings would be if we actually had an unbiased press, and people were intellectually honest.

I know several ppl who acknowledge they agree with much of what he has done/is doing, and that he is, indeed responsible for a good economy, low unemployment, etc, but don't like his personality, amd would not consider voting for him.

I try to point out the old "cutting off your nose to spite your face" analogy but its like talking to that monkey that's covering his ears.

Lots of presidents job approvals go up and down.

But Trump has never had an RCP average job approval above 50%. His highest approval rating from Gallup was 46%.

In comparison, George W. Bush's highest was 90%, George H.W. Bush highest was 89%, Clinton's highest was 73%, Reagan's highest was 71%, Obama's highest was 69% and so on.

There are generally popular presidents and generally unpopular presidents. Trump is a generally unpopular president.

But the only poll that really matters will come in November 2020. And with the usual voter suppression and help from Russia, Trump may manage another win.

At 42% Job Approval after 2.5 years as President, Donald J. Trump is TIED with where Barack Hussein Obama was at this point (Summer of 2011).

yet you all say Obama was a horrible president.

So what is it? Is trump a horrible president or was Obama good?

I know, pat yourselves on the back and get your stars and flags.....

More Russia and voter suppression. This is why the left will not win 2020.

The only Russian collusion was the production of the Steele dossier and the only voter suppression is the left's continued effort to slime every conservative as a racist.

Be prepared for a replay of election night 2016. Because despite the predictions that HRC was a 95% shoe-in, it didn't happen. And it won't on 2020 either.

I pointed this out to someone the other day and told them if they dismiss Trump they will probably be disapointed.

It is true his numbers are the same as Obamas were at this same point in the presidency. In fact, Trump's numbers have remained steady more than any other president that I am aware of.
That's the positive.

The negative is his numbers are below what got him elected and he lost the popular vote and his numbers have never gone as high as any of the other presidents that I am aware of. If you think his re-election is a sure thing you will probably be disappointed.

Trump is in the race and I believe it will be a close race. Nothing is assured for either side.

His numbers are significantly up compared to the day prior to his election.
37.5% favourable then compared to 42.5% now.

Straightest line for any president ever, and it's not his highest either. Looks like the people that hear his dog whistles are still supporting him, at or around 40%, and the rest of the country doesn't. Besides, when did we start using Obama as a measure of good performance?

The comparison was due to Obama's alleged popularity .
On some websites you can compare any President's popularity.
Trump's is better than most , and tied with Obama's
That is as simple as one can say on the subject
Comprehend yet ?

How convenient.

And you can bet his numbers are higher than that. The polls always flub his numbers to make him look bad.

Yee Haw! I hear his 'actual' approval ratings are at One Hundred and Eleven Percent! You know, the ones the fake lamestream media won't report on!

In fact, he's already won the next re-election and we're all living in the gravity well of his next presidential victory.

The maximum would obviously be 100%.
I get the need for you to launch into hyperbole because the data is not acceptable to you, but the data remains the same nonetheless. Trump is more popular now than when he won the US election.

The hyperbole is for humor's sake.

In seriousness, every poll listing data against folks chosen candidate is used in a supporting fashion, while any poll that gives contrary data to ones hopes/expectations is lambasted as a poor poll or the data has been massaged by vested interests.

I'm just getting bored with everyone talking back and forth, back and forth, perpetually over the same bits of data and same counter arguments when ultimately the numbers are meaningless other than to reinforce ones own expectations.

Its so silly it makes me feel like a %110 approval rating is equally as educative and accurate as any other made up number.

Actually, polls went to crap around 2012 and the media started hyping it up for democrats (to pull more votes to them) and less for Republicans to repel votes. Before that, polls were fairly accurate. Although you're playing coy, I think you know this.

The liberal media is increasingly realizing that Joe Biden is a horrible front-runner.

So what do they do?

Bash the hell out of Donald Trump by making up lies.

Low IQ Dims/MSM are repeating their 2015/2016 mistakes all over again!

Only this time Trump will win even BIGGER than he did in 2016, because America is stronger, and Americans are doing better with Donald Trump as President.
