Anyone remember the movie "Joe", starring Peter Boyle?
At a nearby bar he hears factory worker Joe Curran ranting about how he hates hippies, and Compton blurts out that he just killed one. Joe reacts favorably, but Compton says it was a joke.
Joe beats one of the girls until she tells him that their boyfriends often spend time in an upstate commune. Joe and Compton drive to that commune, with Joe bringing rifles. In a confrontation at the commune, Joe and Compton kill all the hippies there, and Compton unwittingly kills his own daughter.
Freaked me out, man.
This movie sounds more like Poe's The Most Dangerous Game though. That story freaked me out too.

It'd be funny if the plot was about people trying to figure out how guns work while stumbling around the wilderness trying to find Trump supporters, complaining about the heat, and just getting lost. Then it turns into a psychological horror, where everything is offensive and unbearable.

Movies can and do make me think deeply. But again they are just movies.
Is this a Oliver Stone or Ken Burns documentaries series?
No I think not.
So don’t think too much into it dude.

Where do they call themselves the "globalist" elite? Quit making stuff up, they call themselves the elite, the word globalist never comes up in the trailer anywhere. Maybe actually watch the trailer again? That would help.
You act as if this is a completely new concept. I've seen plenty of movies where the "elite" kill or terrorize those they think are "lesser" than them.
You should really stop politicizing everything in your head. I know the media has conditioned you to see boogeymen everywhere but they're not real. It's ok. Lol.

So that would mean, ah, give me a second or two two think about this. tic tock tick tock. Ok got it.
So unlike the immediate reaction that the movie was made by leftists to stir up other leftists to hunt down Trump supporters, it ah, really is a movie designed to get conservatives riled up about how they are persecuted and then tells a tale of striking back at their evil oppressors.
Do you think I got that right?
"The Hunt," which was previously going to be titled "Red State vs. Blue State," is billed as a satire that follows wealthy thrill-seekers taking a private jet to a five-star resort where they embark on a “deeply rewarding” expedition that involves hunting down and killing "deplorables."
Universal Pictures told Fox News on Wednesday: "Out of sensitivity to the attention on the country’s recent shooting tragedies, Universal Pictures and the filmmakers of The Hunt have temporarily paused its marketing campaign and are reviewing materials as we move forward."
