It's official. Trump is to blame. Due to his support for white nationalism, his obvious support for the KKK, and his hatred for anyone not his color, it's his fault. Soon, it will transcend to his supporters, so we will be charged in the near future, but for now, it's all Trump.

The shooters are blameless. The Gun are of course at fault, likely equally as much as Trump.

But in all this madness, in all the anger, in all the MSM driven hate, why doesn't anyone ask the simple question? What makes a kid think killing others is the answer to anything?

Keep in mind, these kids haven't lived life enough to understand different cultures, to appreciate others for their contributions. These kids have no scope of understanding.

Thoughts and prayers not needed this time.

What is needed is some sane leadership on this issue.

Of course it's Trump's fault.

Just like it was Obama and the Dems fault for all the mass shootings during those 8 years.

Let the screeching begin.

When you don't get enough likes on that edgy social commentary post about how you know everything and can fix the world, on facebook..

I actually do blame social media.. It's changed how kids are. And not the ones who came into it, but the ones born into it. They are different creatures to what it was 30 or 40 years ago. And that's not 'sound like your dad' talk, this is something else.

It's changed the entire way people see each other. Moreso, how they see the protagonist. Everyone wants to be 'that guy'..

Social interaction less, social media more. What a disassociated world this has all become.

Why so surprised? The Democrat's Summer Of Hate continues, simply because they fear that Trump will win 2020. They continue to use terms like "racist" and "white supremacist" to appeal to their ignorant base. If there is flooding in New Orleans, Trump's critics will blame him because of his views on global warming. If there's a future conflict with Iran, they'll blame him for pulling out of the Iran nuclear deal. Hell, Trump would be blamed if an asteroid hit the US. The simple fact is, the Democrats platform is solely based on hate, smears and distorting the truth.

I was out of town for work part of last week into the weekend, so I didn't follow everything, rather I caught up with it yesterday out of curiosity. I read some of the articles, went through some of the threads here, and also listened to the take on talk radio.

I don't think there is any shortage of finger pointing from both sides. The media is taking their predictable approach, and reading through the main thread here I saw members from both sides quick to blame their opposition.

The truth is there are a lot of things to blame, and not one entity owns it all. I'm sure many here know I'm a staunch independent, but I wouldn't even put the blame solely on partisan politics, though I think that it plays a part.

Our society, and all it's intricacies have evolved to what it is today, and we have a problem. I think America has an infatuation of wanting things with a quick fix, or an easy explanation or something to take the blame. We want a pill to magically fix everything, and we don't want to be uncomfortable and use introspection to fix problems or take accountability for somethings our self at the end of the day.

But blaming only Trump is silly and irresponsible, replace his name with any single person or group and I'd feel the same way.

Donald Trump could save two children from being eaten by a lion and the headline would read "Trump Cruel to Animals".

Originally I voted for him because he wasn't her, but, now I'll help campaign for him.

They have nothing to run on.
And so many loser candidates they are trying to hook Oprah and/or Michelle in
Think about it
Let that settle in.
20 or so candidates and they are trying to recruit 2 more into the fray.

Let’s assume the manifesto was linked to the guy who is responsible for the killings in El Paso. That flame of hatred toward Mexicans could have very well been fueled by Trumps rhetoric towards Mexicans and immigrants.

This doesn’t make Trump responsible though.

There goes the media blatantly pushing people into even more extremist corners with their clearly biased coverage while politicizing everything under the sun.

This is totally organic, there's no agenda behind their blatantly divisive rhetoric. Nope, they just really hate Trump, that's the only possible reason and I refuse to consider other options.

Suppose they're coming after the old white men's guns first. They know we are in their way of the socialist revolution. Have to get rid of the old white men.

IMO, and I reluctantly voted for Donald Trump, the president has charisma with the radical right and he does seem to pander to the hard right during his speeches at these rallies. That likely will embolden the violent radical right extremists, but it certainly didn't create this problem. This nut cases are one straw from breaking, it could be any straw that pushes them over the edge into violent actions and both sides are piling the straw on that camel's back.

When a city hospital can't take in more wounded and it is just a normal weekend, that's pretty bad. But many will pretend it doesn't happen.

I agree, the right did the same with Obama though. Typical politics. Although it has seemingly ramped up with Trump. In either case, both sides are unwkllingly to admit mistakes or wrongs and will demonize each other to eternity.

More reason not to pay attention to politics. All it does is suck you down to their pathetic level of existence.
