Ohio shooting, first reports: At least 7 people killed

The gunman, identified as 24-year-old Connor Betts, was a member of Menstrual Munchies, a three-person band that performed regularly in the Midwest death metal scene, recently appearing as one of the bands at the Summer Massacre 2 concert in Chicago on June 29. Pornogrind is a subgenre of a fast and extreme kind of heavy metal called grindcore, which is known for its mostly dark, satirical themes of sexual violence and gore delivered for shock value. The band's song titles are explicitly sexually violent, such as "Preteen Daughter Pu$$y Slaughter" and "C*nt Stuffed With Medical Waste - Sexual Abuse Of A Teenage Corpse." The album art is equally explicit. One album cover shows a woman consuming feces, while another shows an illustration of a young woman's headless body chained to a bed, covered in blood, as a man puts his pants back on.

so this is really really weird , any bets on how long it takes the media to blame metal music with this tiny obscure tidbit?

Some people think because his father is a new age healer and all that, yes.

I am struck by the excerpt where he (the father) went shoplifting because the mother left the twin 13 year olds (El Paso was on of them) home for Christmas and didn't tell him first. So then he got arrested and the kids spent Christmas alone. Guess mom didn't even return after dad was arrested.

Seems like there are some mental problems among both parents. No telling tho what woo woo logic the father used on El Paso to justify things.

If I knew how they did it I would certainly try to prevent it. And yes I am not susceptible because my life does not fit the type of person that is. I am not down and out. I don't blame others for my problems. I am a successful health care provider. Those that fit the MO for head playing are like those that skin heads are successful in recruiting and fit the bill I just explained.

Not sure if anyone has posted this but it has come out it was his best friend who was with his sister and was shot. I find this very very odd.

He drives with his sister and best friend. At some point he decides to separate from them and then in full body armor shoot up a bar? Best friend was shot and is talking to police.

How could his sister AND the best friend NOT know he was going to shoot up the place?

We have members who live there who could make a trip to the library to confirm this. I am going with BS at this point.

. I sure did Gen., TY for posting that earlier. I was on the moms page yesterday, different woman, I believe. I dated a Betts, sister was a Megan, I couldn't remember the other brothers name, or where they even lived now. So, of course, when the info came out about the sister, I was in a panic. Came to find out, Betts is very common. Although I do believe that's a different kid, when I was going through the list of Connor Betts on FB, I was stunned by how many not only had the same name, but 3 or 4 of the FB accounts, they could have passed for brothers, or 1st cousins! But not 1 was from this killer, least from what I checked....gosh, there really was a lot.....

The parents violated comedian Carlos Mence's rule about both parents can't be stupid because no child of theirs has a chance. Two C or less students get married and they have kids then we get "duh duh duh's", he says.

OK, did I say you did? I just pointed out who the true fools appear to be. No offense if that is your point of view but taking guns away only aids criminals and big gov agency's that obtain absolute power. Absolute power tends to corrupt people absolutely. That is why we have the well written COTUS.

Yeah he was looney f'n tunes for sure. Again though, with him AND the El Paso kid there were flags that could have helped to prevent these events.

If social media can detect hate speech and ban people you are going to tell me there is no algorithm to find whack jobs like this?
