Twitter banned me without warning or explanation on the night of the #CNNDemDebates.

Do you think social media platforms are influential?

It's been a couple of days and I followed instructions in their auto-generated email to make an appeal to their sudden permanent suspension in a short confirmation email (to let them know my email address is alive and active), but I felt that they should hear a little more from me so I just wrote them this letter and have given them 3 days to reply, or somehow, by some synchronicity or act of God I will get this information this letter, in front of the Trump Administration to form part of their deliberation on the potentially BIASED heavy-handedness of the tech giants, which is perhaps by far, by many orders of magnitude a greater threat to the integrity of the Democratic process than a Russian troll farm and RT.

Here's the letter

It sure doesn't hurt to try, good luck on this!

Not to be 'one of those', but I thought this might help, some... I promise I am not being OCD.

To be taken (more) serious it'd look better to make these corrections.
You have "too" instead of 'took'. in the first sentence below.

My suspension too place suddenly and without any warning or explanation as to any violation of the rules or TOS & it appears to be a permanent ban.

You have a lowercase "i" instead of an uppercase 'I' in two different places.

The impression that i have is that my ban took place on the night of the 2nd Democrat CNN Debate when i repeatedly used the hashtag This was my account (which had, at time of suspension, about 7400 followers, and about 7500 followed)

😧

xuenchen, you saw my posts on Twitter. Was my account growing in influence and reach? What was your experience or impression?

or was I as others have suggested, not even a blip which won't be missed for a moment?

So you believe most of the people in the country are using twitter to determine the direction they believe the country should move? lol.

Oddly enough, Democratic leadership does exactly that.

Which might explain their total disconnect with reality the last few years...

I think it's more about WHO we hit and how hard it hits home.

But yes you were growing and somebody got nervous 😎

I notice hitting the current high profile politicians may have little "impact" with most "viewers", but it triggers a high profile "hit" with the target. Remember these current Candidates have all kinds of micromanagers watching every leaf that falls from every tree 😎

If you had any idea who watches ATS, it would cook your noodle ie: if you could ping the visiting IP addresses here.

What does a ping tell you about who uses a specific IP address?

nothing.

Sorry, wrong technical term, but the site owner would have that ability.

I once participated on a forum, post-911 which had visiting VIP IP's that pointed to every government & MIC org you could imagine, from all over the world, including the Exec Office of the POTUS and the Vatican Holy Roman See (who's twin servers were names Osiris & Seth btw).

My thoughts exactly. Plus you can be assured that any person who's a bit of a narcissist, like a celeb, are checking and reading their notifications.

A great idea is like an arrow that flies to its mark, and with Twitter, you could send it right in to target.

Then how is Twitter a grave threat?

They can have influence on some people.

So can newspaper, tv, radio, church, clubs, friends, companies ...

Because once the mind and heart gives consideration to certain distinctions, it can never go back to its original configuration.

As someone else pointed out, Twitter can be used to get in the face of powerful influencers, who I've seen first hand appropriate and then disseminate a certain idea or viewpoint whether in tweet and/or video.

It's influencial and impactful as a communications tool, no doubt.

You mean besides changing public opinion and attempting to change the course of an election?

Add Facebook and Google to that equation.

Huge threat! Infinitely greater than Russia.

So a biased social media platform can have an impact on opinions.

So the majority monitor twitter to determine how to vote? I think people give to much credit to them unless it is to be admitted that the majority of American are stupid and we are entering idiocracy.

It would only effect or touch 20% at most, or only say 50 million people +/-

The important thing is how many are influenced. Looks to me that many here must be influenced by opinions there because of the often displayed outrage.

Which is why I think it will not make or break an election at this point.

Had Trump as president not jumped on it would be even less meaningful and significant.

I use it like I use some other sites, something that surfaces might catch my attention but I check other sources. Otherwise it is just opinion of someone there and I see it as that.

That's why i said "depends on how it's used". Some use it to great effect.
