Who wrestles bears?

TheRedneck

Davy Crockett.

If you saw how he beat up on them bears you'd want it to be illegal too!

Hey, I don't care to wrestle these little black bears we have! You can keep them kodiaks up there.

I agree with the shaming idea, but we're talking about New York, the place that gave us AOC. That would be cruel and unusual punishment! No, no, they have to be fined heavily, and told they're still good people so they don't get their feelings hurt.

Boy howdy do we have some bears you can wrestle on Kodiak. Up to 10 feet tall standing on their hind legs and up to 1,500 lbs.. Cute little boogers that love to play with their food.

They are playfully mischievious.

It is supposedly illegal for me to manufacturer soap on my property but I have risked it and made my own scented soaps from time to time.
One year I had a lot of lavender blooming at once.

True... the soap law was to protect wells in the city before water treatment.

X-Rays to measure feet? Oh goodness, I never heard of that.
I only ever had my feet measured by that device you put your heel against and then the slide the other end down to your toes.
When I was small they used that side measurer too because I had narrow heels.
The only X-rays I got were at the dentists. And once when I broke my ankle.

Well, wonder no more, thanks to the new law being debated:

It may soon be a felony in New York to douse a policeman with water.

So, if I come across a policeman on fire...

I can, um, urinate on him to help?

I can vaguely remember the scene. A box about head height. Child in proposed new shoes standing in front of it (on built-in platform?), and sticking one or both feet into a space at the bottom. There was also a screen at the top, so that shop assistant and anxious parents could inspect the live x-ray image and and make sure there was wriggle-room inside the shoe, so that the toes would not be squashed out of shape. All very up-to-date and healthy, until somebody worked out that exposure to x-rays might be a bad thing.

Best one I've heard for my state is

Any motorist driving along a country road at night must stop every mile and send up a rocket signal, wait 10 minutes for the road to be cleared of livestock, and continue.

Good golly!
What state is that?

Good ol' Pennsyltucky!

LOL! How you been Sky? Being from Florida and seeing some of the idiots that disgrace our streets, this doesn't surprise me. The thing is someone was probably caught in the act which caused some politician to write the bill.

I suspect it wasn't a one time incident either. One time is a WTF?

The second is serious consideration of committing the someone(s) to an asylum.

After the third, we HAD to have a law. I guess the asylum's were overcrowded with porcupine rapists!

BTW, porcupines are often carriers of leprosy here in Fl anyway!

I can hardly wait to go to paradise! This world has gone off the deep end.

i am unclear on this

is the topic :

A - 2 bears forced to wrestle ?

B - a human wrestling a bear ?

the impetus for legeslation against senario "A" is obvious - most civilised juristictions prohibit forcing animals to fight

the need to legislate against "B" = troy hurtubise and others who would emulate him

So if the laws on the books are not enough... well...

Did you miss my point?

There is already a law or three on the books that cover this.

Assault. This covers the mere threat to douse them with some unknown liquid substance (it could be water - or it could be gasoline ... or piss.

Battery. This covers the act of dousing them.

Then you also have 'Interference with a Police Officer in the performance of their duties', and I'm sure there are others.

If I had been one of those officers, the second this happened, I'd have drawn down on them, and if they persisted, they'd have been shot.
