I used to love lemons. I'd eat them raw. I loved lemons in cold ice water, and I even liked lemons in beer sometimes.

Then every freaking chef on earth decided "lemon" was the best ingredient in every food imaginable! Lemon in Italian food, lemon in seafood, lemon in Greek food...lemon in every freaking thing! STOP with the Fooking LEMON!!!

Now I HATE lemons! Lemon pie is "okay", lemon candy sucs...and every single person who wants to screw up perfectly good food with the overpowering taste of lemon...should be keel-hauled!!

ahhh lemons 🍋😊... ate them like oranges as a kid, and still can’t resist the urge to bite into a wedge meant for dry ribs.

Maybe that’s what makes me such a sour puss at times.. all that lemon.😜

Mmmmmm.....lemon pepper chicken, lemon infused water, lemonade, Leinie's Summer Shandy - just love that lemon Hahahaha!

Sorry I'm torturing you with this, couldn't resist.

I feel the same way with pineapple. I used to really like it, then I lived in Hawaii for two years. They put it on and in everything there. Now I absolutely hate it, just the sight and smell makes me gag.

Oh now, lemon and lime isn't that bad. I love a good squeeze of lime on my street tacos. We made a cold cucumber avocado soup that used a good amount of lime juice when the a/c was out this weekend, and it was super nice. We use citrus in our fajita marinade and in our pork carnitas.

I am more partial to lime over lemon, but lemon has its place.

We cobbled together a nice lemon butter pasta sauce that we toss with shrimp, mushrooms, and fresh veggies like zucchini and asparagus. We call it lemonatta, but I know that's supposed to be baked.

I had forgotten how good steak is dipped in Meyer lemon, then into drawn butter. Its amazing! I have a Meyer lemon tree the birds planted, and a New improved Meyer lemon tree I just bought. Its already fruiting, and its still in the pot. I also have a Eureka lemon tree that also has a Navel Orange grafted onto it. I use those lemons in my sun tea

Summer Shandy can be refreshing on a hot day if it's ice cold.
And sativas are ok, but Lemon Kush sounds better to me.

That belongs on a burger, not a steak.

Now home made Marinara is a different story. barbequed Angus steak that is covered with Marinara and mozerella, then popped in the oven under the broiler, until the cheese is nicely melted is a different story

Lemon does not belong on food! Lime has a "small" place on Latin food, but not lemon!

Lemon "grass" (which is NOT lemon) is okay on SE Asian food, but not lemon!

Lemon doesn't belong on food! Drinks, maybe...and only a little, but NOT on food!!

LEMON...GACK!!
