Are you insane?

Being successful in a bad economy conflated to bombing victims in a war?

That's just full on stupid.

Congrats.

Wear a helmet.

It's a one-pie mentality. They haven't figured out how to bake their own pie.

As far as they view economics, it's either they steal or others steal from them.

This illustrates a deep misunderstanding of market economics.

How pitiful and pathetic life must be, to measure your successes and failures based upon the whims of politicians instead of your own ideas, values, ethics.

I just can't imagine it.

I'm not sure how or why you went off like that.

*shrugs*

All I'm saying is that blaming the "economy" for your financial woes is placing the blame in the wrong place.

People can and have succeeded in bad economies.

People have failed in good economies.

Be responsible for your own success.

No one since the depression has had the dollar devalued so much, and COLI increased as much. That turned out great, right? With only 15 million in population people starved to death, leading to even West African countries donating to America.

That means there are 300 million that aren't.

So if I'm successful, how much do you want to punish and penalize me to give those that are unsuccessful the same lifestyle I have?

LOL

This is what we call desperation.

Growing wages, low unemployment, low inflation, 7 million unfilled jobs and rising. The economy is at terminal velocity.

Well the average salary in China is about $23,000 a year (63,000 yuan) that is for 2017, most recent data. In the US its $56,000 and that was back in 2015, again most recent data.

When their average is on par with ours, you wont see those 7 percent increases.

www.google.com... &ie=UTF-8

www.google.com... F-8[/quote

$56,000 is the average household income in the US. The average individual income in the US is $31,000.

According to china, middle class makes 9k a year.

Link

If you take the respondent in the article as low/middle class example, like they claim they are, their dual incomes (AKA household income) are under 20k.

I don't think you should be punished, why do you think you should be punished

Big difference between saying its # that 50 million of your fellow Americans are in abject poverty, and that's just the down and out not even considering the working poor and saying those that are successful should give up what the have for the greater good.

I thought we were talking about how great the economy is, fair to say the economy is not good for a good chunk of the population and that's crap and really nothing to be proud of.

None, we just want our fair shake from our economy.

How hard is that to understand? I dont want welfare, I want my dollar to go further, and have more power, but somehow you can't grasp that. Smdh, you are like an ostrich. Sorry, but putting your head in the sand ain't gonna work.

So it is ok for the elite to keep taking larger portions of the pie? Till when? How small of a piece are you willing to take? Could you survive a 25% decrease in the DI? How many Americans could?

Spouting hypotheticals and encouraging class warfare because some are more successful than you is a really poor way to start a Saturday.

Typical non thinking deflection.

How long can this go on? There is research, with empirical data, and statistics to show exactly going on. With economists around the world agreeing with me.

You are seriously making me embarrassed to be associated with someone like you by being a Trump supporter. Look back at my posts over the years, I historically lean right. You can support our President and stil realize what is happening economically. You know that, right?

*rolls eyes*

So to recap. . . .

Rich people suck, our economy sucks, life isn't fair, and personal responsibility is stupid.

I forget sometimes that people on here pretend to be dumb as dirt as a form of competitive argument, dbcow. What I was clearly saying, that you missed apparently, is that we are all subject to external forces very much out of our control. Some subtle and some overt. For some it will be a bomb falling out of a sky, being born to rich parents, or a lottery ticket. For others it will be societally censored sexuality, an economy of corruption and graft, or a genetic coding that makes one unable to process certain proteins. Or, apparently, reading comprehension.
