That was a brilliant read mate, totally got the sentiment, message, and emotion from it 👍
New world, we gotta say exciting times ffs!!! ...and I'm not a Scot! We'll still trade and get twatted with each other...I'm sick of the independent Scotland doom as much as the post brexit doom talk!

Edit, Totally mean it man, I share family Burns nights in my nook of Ing-er-land where I live, neeps n tatties ❤️
My best mate is a hated scouser cos being scouse, but Scottish dad, Irish mother I think, can't remember, was pissed when they last came down and all I remember is pulling my # together so I looked straight while laughing my arse off at his dad's funny lines!
My whole circles are Welsh, Irish of all flavours, English north south Midland west south and southwest, Scottish, and every accent in between.
Whoever governs us they'll never change us as people who share islands in the Atlantic together!

Cheers mate that was kind of of you to say.

The thing I can’t get over to folk here is the energy and the fervour these youngsters have for Scottish independence. It’s astonishing. It’s got such a powerful hold on them.

I'm crashing out, but last words for my long night, think about being a true independent Scotland mate, harness that passion of your young kin, work with us as free tribes, # Junker, # pretty boy Macron who doesn't give a # about you, front them all, own it, be excited and believe in your people with all our people!
Totally mean that but now ruined sleepy, so laterz, but think about it, and tell your mates 👍

The Scots are not going to vote for independence.
They might, in general, have a chip on their shoulder about the English, but they are not stupid.

hahahhahahahah aye ok then , we dont have a chip on our shoulder , but we do love to bam the English up for the banter
it's aww aboot the patter

aye you are right we arent stupid the quicker we get away from westminster the better

I think a lot of scots are actually losing their hangover and waking up now !

See i did not get what i voted for, twice if I'm honest.

Well its obvious you didn't vote with the (intelligent?) majority then.

Have to ask ourselves though, do we ever get what we vote for really?

The (intelligent?) majority do ...... always

And the thing is, it's not like it worked perfectly before we entered into the EU,

The (intelligent?) majority obviously think it didn't work while IN the EU.

Just not Scotland though, eh.

Err, what about the little matter of the referendum you had in 2014?

Just more sour grapes because it didn't go your way.

Aye but how sure can we be that wasnt just given to Scotland like a carrot before the horse to appease the masses and show that the "once in a life time " vote for indy was a failure and so best to stick with "better together" , so we could be struck down and told , oh its only once in a generation!

The good thing is though life expectancy in Scotland is lower so , a generation to England is different in Scotland
so ideally we can have a indy ref every 10 years , well in Glasgow at least hahaha

I'm not making any measurements or judgments thats why I put in in brackets

with a ?

But as its often assumed that a majority is where its at ...... like separating

the wheat from the chaff in other words people that are of high quality or

ability from those that are not!

By the way, intelligent people can negotiate Zip slides, even my 7-year-old kid can do it without getting stuck.

Can Boris?

Run a country but canny slide down a piece of rope eh?

Intelligent and then some in spades. x

That majority might be a little on the other side of the equation for your liking these days.

Coz even amongst the ones who choose to remain part of the UK, half of the poor sods never voted for Brexit.

If that had been known to be in the post i imagine Scotland may have voted to depart the union.

But hey'ho ce sera sera i suppose.

And we have stumbled upon the whole nature of politics , to create divides were none should exist
and to give the perception of differing human ideals , a group you can chuck in with to say I am with them
and we are together

load of #ing rubbish

I want a world without politics please!

What does Scotlands independence matter to you anyway , its not your country so why do you care if we moan or not ?
Also if we are sovereign and democratic then we can have our say as many times as we like whether you or anyone else likes it or not right ?

Since that is democracy

Our collective choice/vote/opinion counts for sfa I'm afraid where the grand scheme of UK politics are concerned.

The next referendum after Halloween will be somewhat different i imagine.

Ile stop whinging when politics does what it says on the tin, so i would not hold my breath.

In my opinion , Scotland should leave the UK the same date we leave the EU

and be done with it

We dont have a deal with EU then the rest of the UK gets no Deal with Scotland

we arent married so we dont have to separate our # up equally

31st October , New years day for the Celts, and imagine independence day as well !

what a party , it would last from Halloween to New year (christian)

Possibly the SNP and EU might be able to come up with some kind of plan/deal that will allow Scotland to remain/rejoin the European Union once the UK departs the EU and we depart the UK soon after with any luck.

Who knows what can be achieved or put in place after this Brexit debacle is over?

Anyhoo i imagine the mask will be coming off after Halloween rather sharpish.
