Seems that life is starting to teach good ole Bernie that money doesn't grow on trees in the magical money forest. Bernie has to cut the hours of his staff to raise their wages to $15/hr.
1. That means he wasn't paying them $15 an hour after years of saying that is the minimum living wage that we are all ENTITLED to.
2. He functions just like the evil capitalists that he claims to hate and that he says are destroying our country.

What is next, are we going to learn that he didn't give his staff their ENTITLED health care that they have a RIGHT to?

Bernie Sanders' campaign staff demanding a 'living wage' and health care
Democrat presidential candidate Bernie Sanders announced this weekend he will cut staffers' hours so that they can effectively be paid a $15-an-hour minimum wage, prompting mockery from critics who say the move is more evidence that Sanders' plan to raise the national minimum wage is hypocritical and would only lead to less work and more unemployment.

The Washington Post first reported last Thursday that Sanders' field staffers were upset that Sanders championed a $15 minimum wage on the campaign trail, and made headlines for railing against major corporations who pay "starvation wages" -- even as his own employees made "poverty wages."

On the bright side, I am finally glad to see that Bernie is finally growing up. Maybe now that reality has set in he will become a Conservative. It only took him 77 years to finally catch on to what most of us have known since childhood.

I guess you can teach an old Socialist new tricks, it just takes a long time.

Interesting on several levels.

One is that it is a sad day for his message that they are not already being paid the amount he has set for the nations workers.
Two is that it is good for his message that his campaign has unionized in that he has always been a strong proponent of unions.
Three, Interesting that it was the Washington Post that has brought this out in the open. Hardly the liberal media bias some would have us believe.

Do you think it is possible that maybe the Washington Post is still biased but that Bernie is not their candidate of choice? They would probably be a little more flexible with Bernie if he would just put a "-D" after his name instead of a "-I"

He's not a capitalist. He's just a greedy, sociopathic ba57ard.

You forgot one:

The effect of having their wages raised was exactly what most of us have predicted. Their hours were cut effectively meaning they are making pretty much what they were before their artificial wages. If your employer can only afford to pay you so much, then that's what you get paid whether you get paid that amount working more hours at less per hour of less hours at a higher rate. The alternative is fewer workers being paid more per hour, and we've seen that one too.

I have always wondered how a career social servant and a woman who led a failing college got to be millionaires. Bernie said its because he wrote a book. I guess his staff should all start writing books so they can end their starvation.

He was a homeless bum for majority of his life ...

Either way, he's not capitalist. At all, and it's his employees who are the ones gobbled up into what he's against. The man is a hopeless romantic for a classic communist world and is expecting people to struggle like he did to get his message out and achieve his goal.

Sanders needs to give it up and focus on a more moderate approach to socialist ideas and stop trying to hide his far left feelings.

He doesn’t even know what socialism is. His claim that Norway was socialist is evidence of that. His politics are the politics of envy.

Bernie said he wants a world "where human beings can own the means of production and work together rather than having to work as semi-slaves to other people who can hire and fire."

More proof that he is pro-capitalism. He wants people to be able start their own businesses, alone or with others. so they can break the chains of semi-slavery.

OR

Maybe it's possible he wants a world where people can't get fired no matter how bad they suck at their job or regardless of how lazy and non productive they are. But that would be insane and the world would be full of non-productive people much like the old Soviet Union, so it must be the former that he is pro-captitalism

He's a devout Marxist.

The plan is to have the 1% in government instead of "private" ownership 😎

Bernie, also said "Not only must we fight to end disastrous unfettered free trade agreements with China, Mexico, and other low wage countries, we must fight to fundamentally rewrite our trade agreements so that American products, not jobs, are our number one export."

Sounds a lot like Trump to me.

Could be. But could it also not be that the Post is not the completely biased socialist rag many make it out to be?

Exactly and that is the main argument against a minimum wage that goes straight to the heart of the matter. For sure it not only is a blow to his campaign but as blow to his philosophy as well.

No I am pretty sure I am right. The Washington Post has left little doubt that they a completely biased rag. They are biased for the DNC. They are like one of the many other of the DNC's little biatches like CNN, MSNBC, and the New York Times.
