I'm confused by your quote. Because it sounds exactly like socialism. To be honest, it sounds like any government. But at least capitalism allows for the opportunity to make a living and even become a part if the upper echelons of society. Socialism has never achieved that as far as I know.

Yeah, basically what I mean is that the state had classified them as a gang. I hope that clarifies it. They we're practically a cult.

Socialism is why we have roads, bridges, and public schools. Everyone benefits from our country's commonwealth. Socialism is great! We need more of it! And we need the government to break up the cartels and monopolies pricing fixing wages, products, and services.

It's okay though. The propaganda machine in this country has made socialism on the same level as pedophilia. I believe in the words of George Carlin which are MORE true today than when he spoke them:



This is why I ultimate don't care about politics. Nothing will ever change. Trump got elected and what happened? The swamp is just as full as it ever has been. The only thing meaningful Trump as done is give the billionaires HUGE tax cut and then gutted consumer protection laws. It's the same-old trickle down Reagonomics which has never worked. Just google "Wealth inequality in America" and watch a few videos. Wealth inquality cannot be any worse and still have a dollar having any shred of value.

So my solution is NOT to watch the news at all. I just play fantasy football.

I do believe in socialism to that extent. National infrastructure and police, fire, and education is important. Even at that basic level though a lot of those systems are corrupt. Police violence and educational failure and prison systems are all a problem here more than in most countries. I wish we could sit at the table and solve them, but our congressmen don't seem to be interested in our nation's problems.

Full on socialism is obviously quite a bit different. But I think we agree on some things so far.

It's definitely possessing of historical similarities, but I think it speaks a lot more to the Reagan conservatives than to modern conservatives, and it veers even further when you dip into the Alt-right. "Young people and getting away from God are the roots of our ruination" has not been the primary Conservative platform, certainly not in the past decade maybe the past 2 decades. The modern issues are sovereignty in the face of exploding globalism, illegal immigration, and unrealistic economic entitlement positions (the leader of which is in his 80s, so we can't say that one is thanks to the decay of moral fiber in the youth... Sanders is as far from being a youth as he is from realistic understanding of economics.)

Thanks for the video, though. It's been a while since I watched Goldwater speaking. I'd have liked the man alot... I disagree with some of his issues but overall he was a brilliant American.
