It has come to this my friends, ATS is officially divided. It shouldn't be this way! we're all made of the same fabric. Politics has screwed this place a new one. I think the "Mud-Pit" forum should be taken down but, I am not in charge. We live in controversial times. ATS has been a place in which politics we're an afterthought...The never ending search for answers is what drew me to this site 12 years ago.

I admit, I have been guilty in yelling my beliefs...in a few threads.

What I ask of you all tonight, is to blast away.... Left..Right..middle..Or neither.

Say your piece on the current political climate in the US, Just please do it respectfully !!

I don't want to hear uninformed people post their ridiculous one sentence of hate.

The United States Of America needs our help.

Are you with us or against us?

Please be vocal and powerful..no matter your beliefs!

Just respect the T&C's and try to be a solution..not part of problem.

Honestly don't post here much anymore but here's my piece:

I don't like the president, as a leader, as a person. Never have, never will. Now suddenly because he has become president the right expects me to bow in deference to their Idol lest I be diagnosed with the fabled TDS, which has become endemic it seems.

I back him currently and I don't like him as a person at all.

As a leader he's working out rather well for the country... even for the people that don't like his leadership.

Whenever you and others such as yourself use terms like "Idol" it's just projection on your part and makes you look, well... silly.

Also, liberals would have to agree that legal immigration is wonderful for the country, but it should be a merit based system like Canada and other western nation’s have not the illegal free for all we have now. And FFS secure the border.

Hated Trump since I was a kid watching him on Life Styles of the Rich and Famous. I did vote for him and will again. I do not like him. I do like the focus on bouncing more dollars around in the US. Every dollar kept here bounces around 5-6 times like a pin ball machine. It is a good thing. It keeps businesses open, people employed, investments gaining.

All the other issues I do not care about. If the economy is strong everything else will work itself out. Kill the economy and it has no chance. Want free healthcare, education join the military or reserves. If one refuses or can't do that then that is life. Nobody owes you # in this life.

The one thing they don't understand (because they are economic morons) is that if you take a lot of money from people who have a lot of money and then give it to people who don't have any money it does not increase the wealth of the country as a whole.

It actually decreases the amount of wealth in the country as a whole.

Now, if you want to increase the overall amount of wealth in a country, then you grow the middle class.

Which is what is currently happening.

Now, I understand why the Democratic Socialists don't like that...

Because there are two kinds of people in America.

Those that work for a living...

And those that vote for a living.

The more that get a job and start working for a living, the smaller the Democratic voter base ends up being.
