There have been plenty of people who were arrested while walking through protests and were not part of the protest/riot. If he had been found more than once to have been present during KKK rallies you would have a point, but one occurrence and then he wasn't charged and was released? This was a case of the wrong person in the wrong place at the wrong time. As for POTUS Trump not "assimilating"?... Before he ever ran for President the left LOVED him for the most part. He has several awards from minority groups for the help he has given them. But then again, Trump is not the subject of this thread. Yep, and he would be one of the most powerful people helping people like Ilhan Omar. IMO the help she and her father have been receiving did not start since they got here, but later on when she grew up and someone saw her as a possible ally in the turning of the U.S. into socialism, that is when she and her father were helped. If she and her Somali followers didn't have anything to hide about her why the threats to the rest of the Somali populace in Minneapolis? It is obvious there is something they are hiding about her past.

I find it extremely telling that despite her claims, and her father's claims, they came to the U.S. after the dictatorship of Barre was deposed and exactly when other war criminals from Somalia like Yusuf Abdi Ali fled the country. Then there is the fact that even a human rights Somalian has been pointing the finger to Omar's father as having worked for the dictatorship of Barre.

BTW, it seems I found also that her father has been using in the U.S. the tactics he learned while working for the Barre dictatorship.

So she is pointing out that her father is a political strategist, as well as fundraiser and she points out that "everyone knows not to mess with any of his children, especially his daughters." I wonder to whom she was sending that warning?

For someone who likes to wag her jaw about everything Pelosi sure has clammed up. Maybe shes taking orders from someone behind the scenes to stand down. Or she's trying to keep the already fractured party together. Her big mistake was not calling AOC out when she called her a racist. Pelosi should have come out fighting and put all of them in their place. Humiliate them all on national TV. I'm not a democrat but Pelosi not defending herself made me mad. Her having an actual back bone and standing up for herself and her party might have actually helped the left by pulling it away from the socialist slop. Finding a less radical footing, thus pulling in some swing votes. She might as well go out with a bang. I don't see her running again.

Me too. I really wanted to like Obama too... for various reasons, but I couldn't. The more I learned about him, the less I liked him. And worse, the less I trusted him! And the same for her. It's why I checked her out to begin with -- and her other peas in the pod.

I'll say the same for the Justice Democrats. Got the same feeling. Don't like them, and don't trust them. Even though in theory, I like the idea of replacing the incumbents who have made such a mess of things for so damn long.

Remember all the spying by Obama? Including on Congress critters? I'm convinced that's why Nancy is afraid. I do not think the spying has stopped, it's just moved... though perhaps/probably curtailed. But I'm sure Team Obama has dirt on pretty much everyone in DC. Everyone!

Remember the rumors about Justice Roberts being blackmailed to make Obamacare pass the Supreme Court? And remember Robert's recent shenanigans with this recent ruling about the census citizenship question? I'm sure Roberts is still being blackmailed. I'm going to be watching the Justice Democrats -- and the candidates they choose -- very very closely this next election year. Deuteronomy 5:9-10 says, "I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, and on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing lovingkindness to thousands [of generations, see 7:9], to those who love Me and keep My commandments."

So if Trump loves God and serves Him then the sins of his father will not be held against him.
