Democrat scientist Robert Epstein has declared at a recent senate hearing that Google did influence between 2-10 million people in the last election with bias applied in search results to favor the Democratic party. Senator Ted Cruz is keen to fix this one up, his qmap profile

Cruz Patriot
Ted Cruz is an American politician and attorney serving as the junior United States Senator for Texas since 2013. He was the runner-up for the Republican nomination for President of the United States in the 2016 election. Q has implied that Ted Cruz was also illegally spied on by the Obama administration during the 2016 election.

So with the Russian collusion on election being a nothing burger, are we going to get some meat this time?

The only way that kind of influence would work is if you used it on a populace that is uninformed and not exactly intelligent.

Probably worked like a charm on a great many people, lol.

It's not effective. His rallies are getting bigger. Fox news is getting stronger. If it worked, the opposite would be happening. It's actually helping him. I'm sure they know this from their IT analysis and keep scratching their heads.

What's the point of having power if you don't use it to do "evil" ?

Basically, the GOOG is primarily oriented towards a particular demographic that is not yet representative of the spectrum of voters. Everyone online uses GOOG. Many people aren't constantly online with social media obsession. People are far too obsessed with quick results - thus the bias factor. During the development of search engines it became apparent that commercial exploitation degrades performance accuracy and end user experience. GOOG many time requires ten or so pages of results before the algorithmic priorities break down and present non-sanitized results.

Um, to do actual good. Not good that is good because it benefits you, but benefits the country.

I get that there may have been some sarcasm to your post, but it's pretty tough to tell given your post history.

What is power? A transfer of energy. The power we all have allows us to shape our world. If you shape your world to be evil, that is what you will find.

We all have the power to create and destroy. Some times good or bad involves doing both.

Clearly these social engineering masterminds really aren't as smart as they think and/or people aren't as dumb as they think. People don't like to be manipulated, and when they feel like they are being manipulated they will rebel and do exactly the opposite of what they are being told to do.

Also I think we need to start seriously questioning how closely these "Alphabet Inc" companies are connected to actual alphabet agencies. Snowden revealed information proving that they often work together, and there are actually laws which prevent the social media companies from admitting to the fact they work together, even when questioned by congress. These "deep state" intelligence agencies are well aware of the power these monopoly social media corporations have over how people think, Trump needs to ask some serious questions about what is going on there.

Your complacency is concerning. You may like your irrationality, I do not.

Here is another piece by Lisa Haven in which she investigates a 950 page dump by Google employee Zachary Vorhies for Project Veritas.

Lisa does provide a quick overview of some of the policies used and lists some of the websites that have been targeted for censorship. The political bias is blatent and the thought police extreme with their list of no discussion here approach. When we have people like dfnj2015 who think it is just a joke and evil is good, have you ever considered what is down the road of ignorance? If you want to learn the hard way that is your prerogative. I will pass.

If the Tin Man is not going to work for the people, it will work against the people.
