There's Canadian mosquitos and then there are Northern Canadian mosquitos.
Provincial governments have installed SAM sites at most campgrounds to shoot them down and you can rent individual surface-to-air units for about $75 a day in case the SAMs can't get them all.
Dont even get me started on the horse flies in the Yukon. Those require ICBMs.
