There's Canadian mosquitos and then there are Northern Canadian mosquitos.

Provincial governments have installed SAM sites at most campgrounds to shoot them down and you can rent individual surface-to-air units for about $75 a day in case the SAMs can't get them all.

Dont even get me started on the horse flies in the Yukon. Those require ICBMs.

Mosquitos are northern Manitoba’s provincial bird....
Seriously the biting females up here are about the size of a dime and have manes of hair. They swarm so thick you can hear a audible hum when your out in the bush. When it’s quite you just hear this constant back ground hum of the swarm.

You must be buying in Walmart (long lines).

Oh come on now, forty five pounds...that is rediculous. The Canadian Mosquitoes are no bigger than Yooper Mosquitoes, they only weight about three pounds. Right size in the picture, but they really exaggerated the weight though. We can't be having people discrediting legitimate mosquitoes that size because they gave them fifteen times the weight.

"World News/Daily Report: Where Facts Don't Matter."

This banner on their Website makes them perhaps the *only* media outlet that is 100% truthful in their reporting.

They are the only news source that honestly and openly admits facts don't matter.

Toronto was forward thinking and saw this problem coming years back, so they installed a giant bug zapper in their downtown
