California has every natural advantage: superb climate (just about any kind you could wish); a long, beautiful coastline; remarkably fertile valleys;
unsurpassed viticulture regions; everything from searing deserts to rugged alpine regions; and plentiful fresh water resources in Northern California.
It has — hands down — the finest university system in the world. It’s without doubt the world leader in aerospace. It’s the world capital of
TV and film. It has Silicon Valley and innovates so very much of the world’s consumer technology. But despite all of these advantages, California is
going downhill due to absurd liberal policies. For example, its leaders actively encourage illegal immigrants to move there and enjoy most benefits
available to citizens, including free health care and education. Housing costs are ridiculous, exacerbated by restrictions on land development. Rich
people enjoy living there, but the middle class and many businesses are fleeing. Los Angeles is becoming a Mexican city, rife with homeless riffraff
and now rats. It’s sad to see and it’s happened so quickly, after Gov. Moonbeam took office. They had a chance to save it back in 1994, but the
courts intervened to stymie the will of the people.
