The diplomat is obviously experienced in the way politics works.. Write the memo to paint a narrative and then, oops, somehow it got out to the press. Not all of the acquired memos, just the ones they want everybody to see.

The Iran deal was horrible. The United States shouldn't allow itself to be out-leveraged by Iran.

The American ambassador shouldn't have a flattering opinion of Brexit progress because there hasn't been any. If the American ambassador started leaking unprofessional opinionated emails about it then they should get fired immediately.

The Deep State agenda is being played out in the Persian Gulf but I agree there is an agenda at work here although I think it's more to do with internal politics than anything else.

Or perhaps he's just a pawn in a political game , it seems we now have an open position for an Ambassador to the US and a pro-Brexit politician who gets on very well with the President of the US... Mmmm

The deal Obama made with Iran was totally corrupt to begin with. Obama siding with Hamas, and giving aid to enemies of the USA. It is irrelevant if it "spites" Obama. Spiting garbage from Obama is a natural response all Americans should feel naturally anyways, it's secondary.

As for Trump tearing it all down, yeah GOOD.
Everything Obama touched was garbage based, resulting in garbage for America and liberty including future national well being and security.

Can Obama's diabolical experimental ABORTIONS be reversed safely? That's a bigger question!

As for spiting Obama, it's really meaningless, and shouldn't even be considered as a primary motivation to reverse something Obama did while president.

Add: So to boil it all down more simply, Sir Kim Darroch is full of Cr@p

The majority of Americans [mostly white] who voted for him had high hopes when Obama was voted in. Now not so much.

Pretty obvious Trump has been dissing Obama from day one.
It's only racists who would lap the like of that up, more so, Trump's never ending comments about Obama only show Trump himself as being racist...anyone who thinks different is a fool. So, there it is, a Racist, Xenophobe in the White House..ain't that something!

You’re a racist for not agreeing with me. Says every progressive that doesn’t get their way. We see right through it and only the most ignorant people use it.

Bonfire of the Vanities, old fruit...apart from that...you am just talking shiite.

Why is Trump accused of warmongering?

Trump walked away from the deal for seemingly his own petty reasons and had no plan in place to deal with the fallout of that decision , he's ratcheted up tensions in the region by sending troops and equipment in what appears to be a replay of his strong man diplomacy like he did with North Korea , Iran isn't North Korea.

No one is accusing Trump of warmongering but some in his administration are warmongers and sometimes actions have unforeseen consequences that can lead to war.

Iran , mainly through US sanctions is a wounded animal cornered , the danger is obvious.

Funny people want to defend Iran and pretend the nuclear deal actually did anything.

in the agreement it restricted production for 10 years. After the 10 years Iran is allowed under the agtrrement to move to full production. The JCPOA therefore merely "rents" Iranian arms control for a limited and defined period, after which Iran will be permitted to have an industrial-scale nuclear program with no limitations on number and type of centrifuges, or on its stockpiles of fissile material.

The JCPOA does not require Iran to submit to "anytime, anywhere" International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspections of facilities and military sites where nuclear activities are suspected to have occurred. In other words we have to take their word for it they are not violating the agreement.

Under the JCPOA, United Nations (U.N.) restrictions on Iran's ballistic-missile program expire eight years after Adoption Day (October 2023), while U.N. restrictions on the transfer of conventional weapons to or from Iran terminate after five years (October 2020). So Next year the arms sales begin to a country that promotes terrorism throughout the world.

The windfall of sanctions relief freed up tens of billions of dollars to finance Tehran's many destabilizing activities. Iran increased its military budget 145% over the course of President Rouhani's first term.Iran continues to take Americans and other Westerners hostage, detaining at least five Americans and six other Westerners since the nuclear deal was reached.

Then this deal sets up a worldwide arms race. Do you think when Iran can have full production that every other middle east country will do the same? The moment Iran can produce nuclear weapons so will Saudi Arabia,Syria the UAE,Iraq and Jordan. Does this sound like a good idea to anyone?

Following threats by the Met police about publishing leaked emails the Daily Mail has stuck to its guns and published more revelations , this time in regard to the reason the Iran Nuclear deal was scrapped ....

What? Someone from another country is leaking classified information to the media?

Ah well. Just send him over on the same flight as Assange. We'll find a cell for him somewhere.

It did .

That's ten years of engagement as opposed to now where we have threats and escalating tensions ... I know which I prefer.

You focus solely on Iran and ignore the others , Saudi Arabia is conducting destabilizing activities and Israel has a "secret" Nuclear program but that's OK because they by lots of lovely weapons from America ... the hypocrisy stinks.

Yeah let's all jump up and down on Iran and punish their people because of ...... ?

Then this deal sets up a worldwide arms race.

No , Donald Trump has set up a worldwide arms race , the Nuclear deal was keeping Iran in check and engaged.

Your apparently the type to do nothing. the agreement has no verification were supposed to take their word for it. It ends in 2025 at which time they can produce all the nukes they want. but worse they could do it now and we have to take their word that they will wait until 2025.

You want to claim this agreement does something it does only one thing gives money to Tehran to promote terrorism.

Now the reason I focus on Iran is its the topic of the op. you bringing up Sadi Arabia is just a sad attempt to justify a broken agreement that no one should have agreed to.

If doing something means using military force then yeah , I guess I am.
Talking is better than bombing.

The topic of this thread is what a childish idiot the current incumbent of the White House is , I bring up Saudi and Israel for good reason.
